Chapter 19 - Baby Steps

Megan's POV

I can finally walk. After so long, today I am able to walk. I looked over to see Sean sleeping soundly. I want to surprise him with breakfast. I slowly get up, trying not to wake him. But I soon fall back to the bed, with a hand in mine. "Don't think about it babe." Sean said in a sleepy voice. God damn was it sexy. "Don't walk, I want to help you, and hold you." He continued. "I was going to surprise you. And make you breakfast." I pouted. Sean got up, and stood in front of me, and held out his hands. I took them, and started to stand. It hurt a little, but I did it. He got behind me, and put his hands around my waist. "Alright, let's go." He said. We started to walk out of the room, and headed to the kitchen. I stood at the stove making waffles, while Sean was still wrapped around me. His head was rested on my shoulder. "Comfy?" I giggled at him. "Very. Especially with a goddess such as yourself." He complimented. I started to blush. "Stop trying to get brownie points. Set the table darling." I laughed. "Hey, its the truth. You are a goddess. I've never seen anyone so beautiful." He said kissing my cheek, and setting the table. "So what's the plans for today?" I asked giving us each two waffles. He looked around, like he was missing something. "Babe?" I said. "Oh, sorry. I gotta record for today, then we can go shopping." He said starting to eat. "Shopping? For what?" I asked. "Mmm. These are delicious babe. And for clothes, video games, just an us day. I figured you haven't been able to go out, so we could go shopping." He smiled. He's so sweet. Like I don't know what I would do without him. "I don't need clothes. But if you want, merch is something I want." I giggled. Sean raised an eyebrow at me. "Merch huh?" He smiled. "Only from the one and only." I smile. "Mark." I started laughing. So had he. "Oh, okay, Mark won you over with his big muscles, and deep voice, and nice body, and-" he didn't continue when he realized what he was saying. Which only made us laugh even harder. "I want both of your merch. Shush." I said still laughing. Sitting here with him, laughing is the best feeling I could ask for.

"No, we're in the food court." I hear Sean say. He's trying to find Mark, Wade, and Bob. We were all going out to eat, then record challenges. "Alright, well we are sitting, just look for my green hair, and her purple." Sean said as we sat down at a table. I got a hair cut and a new dye. Short purple hair. Sean just got his green redone. Might I say, it brings out his eyes. And his smile. And his complexion. Everything. "Why are you looking at me that way?" Sean said. "Oh sorry.." K said blushing and looking down. "Were... Were you checking me out?" He asked laughing. "Well. I am looking at the one and only smol green bean." I said giggling. "Hey I'm taller than you!" He pointed out. "Shush!" I giggled back at him. It was just like this morning. I got a weird feeling in my gut. It was like butterflies, and waves. I only felt this with him. It's honestly the best feeling I've ever had. "Mark!" Sean called out. I looked behind me to see a very lost Markimoo. They walked over towards us and grabbed extra chairs. They greeted us with hugs and smiles. "Megan, you look amazing! I'm glad you can walk again!" Mark said smiling. "Thanks, I see you have fire hair." I laughed. He pretended his hair was actually on fire making us all laugh at him.
"So, Megan do you want to record a music video with me?" Mark asked. "Really? I'm not a good singer. I don't even know if I want to be in a video.. Not after the live stream..." I said. "Yea, maybe after a while Mark. I don't reallywant her out there until she, and the audience is ready." Sean said.

"So what game do you want?" Sean asked when we walked into the store. "The new DOOM came out.." I said looking around. "Did you say DOOM?" Mark asked. "Yea, I used to play the first game so much when I was little. It was one of the first." I said. "I love you!" Mark said hugging me. "W-why?" I said between gulps of air. Marks hugs are so strong omg... "I love DOOM. It has so much meaning to me." Mark said. His eyes were filled with joy, and passion. It was adorable. "Megan, close your eyes." Sean said. He was holding his hands behind his back. I closed my eyes. I felt his hands go around my neck. Something was placed around it. "Okay. You can open it." He said. I could hear the smile in his voice. I opened it, and looked down. It was a twilight princess the defend of Zelda sword necklace, with a triforce. I looked up at Sean, who was smiling widely. "Well?" He said anticipating my response. "I love it!" I said smiling. I walked up to him and hugged him. "Its beautiful. Thank you." I said.

Today was a great day. We were walking around the mall, looking at random places for the guys. They were talking about work, when my phone rang. "Hello?" I answered. "Hello, is this, Megan?" Someone asked. "Yes..? May I ask who is asking?" I answered. Sean instantly looked at me. Worried, he grabbed my hand, which was holding dearly onto the new necklace I just got. He took it, and squeezed it.

Sean's POV

"Umm.. Yes. I-" Megan said. She got another phone call. She started shaking. "Okay. I don't want anything to do with-" she was starting to tear up. I started to drag her towards the direction of the car. But she stood in her tracks. "Okay. I will. Thank you for the heads up. You too. Bye." And she hung the phone. "Megan?." "Babe, what's wrong? Who was that?" I asked worried. "The cops." She said, expression completely blank. "What? What happened?" "Megan?" I kept asking. Tears were falling down her face.

"My dad is here."
