AUTHORS NOTE:
I AM HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME WITH WRITING I HOPE YOU ALL APPRECIATE THIS.
Dan's POV:
The ride in the taxi was silent, but not awkward. The cab pulled up in front of a building and we got out. Phil paid the cabbie, and I watched the cab drive off. To be completely honest, I felt quite nervous. It felt like I was starting my life over, and I suppose, in a way, I was.
"Ready to go in?" Phil asked me. I nodded, and Phil took my hand for a moment but then pulled away quickly.
"Sorry, I just-"
"It's fine, Phil." I interrupted him. I grinned, and reached out and held his hand giving it a slight squeeze. I know I'd only known him for a little while, but the human contact felt nice. He smiled at me, somewhat shyly, his cheeks turning slightly pink. We walked together towards the door of the building and walked in. We got in a lift, the entire time never separating our hands, until we got to the door of the flat. Phil released my hand to dig his keys out of his pocket and unlock the door. He opened the door and stepped back.
"After you." He stated, gesturing for me to enter first. I did, and the flat immediately felt like home.
"Nice place." I said honestly.
"Of course it's nice, Dan. You helped pick it out!" He set his keys down on a table. "Do you want to see your room?" He asked, and I nodded frantically. We walked down a hallway and stopped at a door with a sticker that said "DAN" on it. I opened the door a d walked in. It was absolutely perfect. I plopped down on the black and grey bed and smiled.
"I love it, Phil!" I exclaimed. He came over and sat down next to me.
"Great. My room's just across the hall, and the bathroom is next door." Phil explained. He suddenly looked as though he remembered something. He began digging in his pocket until he pulled out a black iPhone. "This is yours." He handed the device to me. When did I get an iPhone? I couldn't remember...oh well.
"Thanks, Phil!" I tried unlocking the phone, but I found it had a passcode, and I didn't know it. "Er..." I showed Phil the screen and he chuckled.
"Right. Its 2324." He helped me out. I nodded my thanks, and unlocked the phone. My eyes widened at the amount of twitter notifications I had flowing in. I opened the app, and was immediately overwhelmed by all the well wishers. I noticed that there was one girl who tweeted me sweet, hopeful things every day, without fail.
@RegRegRegan: @Danisnotonfire You inspire me.
@RegRegRegan: @Danisnotonfire I heard what happened, I hope all is well.
There were so many tweets like this, so I felt the need to respond to her.
@Danisnotonfire: @RegRegRegan Thank you for all your tweets, all is well, I think your tweets helped! :)
I noticed that I had a mention from Phil.
@AmazingPhil: Brought @Danisnotonfire home today. He seems to be settling in nicely. Www.pictwitter.com/nssjjdjcj8338

The bastard snuck a picture of me! It showed me just as I was, kicked back on my bed, engrossed in my iPhone. I kicked him lightly in the side, and he smirked at me.
"What?" He asked innocently. I shook my head.
" Sneaky little shit." I said, but with a grin, and I could tell he knew I meant it affectionately. I ran my hands through my hair, reminding myself that I needed to shower.
"Uh, Phil? I need to shower, can you show me where the towels are?"
"Of course!" He nodded. I followed him out of my room and down the hall a bit, and we stopped in front of a small closet. He opened it to reveal linens, extra pillows, and towels. I grabbed one and walked back towards the bathroom. I took a shower, and washed my hair twice. I managed to locate the blow dryer and hair straightener and I used both of those. I realised too late that I forgot to grab extra clothes, and I would have to make a dash in a towel. I wrapped the towel tightly around my waist and made a run for my room. Of course, at that exact moment, Phil was coming out of his room, and I collided with him. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but I was dripping wet, and, well, naked.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry," I said, feeling heat rise to my cheeks.
"It's fine, it's fine!" Phil said, a bit too quickly. We stepped side to side for a moment, both of us constantly blocking the others way, until I put my hands on his shoulders and pushed him so he could go past me. We both chuckled a bit awkwardly and I went into my room to get dressed.
