Phil's POV

I started to object, but Dan nodded.

"That sounds great!" He said enthusiastically. "I could go for a coffee."

"Starbucks isn't far from here." Chris smiled. "It's nice out.

"Off we go then, yeah?" PJ offered, looking to me for approval. I had spaced out at the mention of Starbucks, because the Starbucks I knew Chris was referring to was the one where Dan fell, and I hadn't gone back to that particular Starbucks since Dan's accident.

"Phil?" PJ asked, waving his hand in front of my face.

"Huh?" I said, coming back to reality, rather than seeing Dan hit the floor again. I looked up at PJ, and then over at where Chris and Dan were sat on the sofa. "Erm, I don't think that's a good idea..." I trailed off, and Dan inturupted me.

"But, Phiiiiiilllllll," He whined, saying my name in that way that made me feel as if nothing has changed. I looked down, pretending to pick a bit of fluff off of my jumper. Dan continued, "I really want a caramel machiatto, and I'm sure you do too, seeing as it's your favourite drink."

My head snapped up and I looked Dan in the eye. "Dan..." I shook my head in happy shock. "Dan, I haven't told you that since you got back from the hospital. How did you know that?"

Dan cocked his head to the side. "I don't know, actually...." He furrowed his brow in thought. "I guess I just...knew."

"You must've retained some of your memory from before your accident!" Chris exclaimed. "That's incredible! Maybe the rest of your memories are in there somewhere!" He gesutured to Dan's head.

"We'll just have to figure out how to get them back..." I said, mostly to myself. I was already brainstorming ways to trigger his memories, like specific smells or tastes. What if going to Starbucks brought back his memory of the accident? That was something I really didn't want him to remember, but at the same time it must be truly terrifying not knowing why you can't remember anything. I stood up.

"Well, that coffee isn't going to drink itself. Let's head out." I suggested. Dan nodded and stood up.

"Maybe while we're there, I'll remember something else!" Dan exclaimed. I frowned slightly, but Dan grabbed my hand as we were walking through the door, and I knew everything was going to be just fine.

Ooooooh foreshadowing, maybe? You'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out! I think this was really short, and kind of a filler, but at least it's something.

Quick question: If you guys like my fanfiction, does that mean you're in my fandom? And, if you were in my fandom, what would you want to be called? I want to call you all Torieos.

Lots of love, and I hope you had an awesome Christmas!
