Hello! This chapter was quite long and I had a lot of writers block for it, so I'm afraid I'm breaking my two a day on weekends rule this time. It's quite a dramatic chapter though, and long, so hopefully that compensates.

Has something ever happened to you that just flipped your stomach, mind and life over all at once?

Because that's what just happened to me.

The day started normally enough. It's been about a week since I met Lilia (Angel and I drew at Mario Kart, by the way) and nothing major had happened before today. After Angel kicked his ass to Pluto and back Sam Thompson and his gang have left us all alone. Mel was proud of herself at lunch - beyond proud, actually, the because Taylor Stone actually started a conversation with her. She was telling Angel and I at lunch.

"He just came up to me and said hello!" She said, neglecting her pizza to lean over the table and talk to us. "He actually started a conversation with me! And we were talking for about five minutes about the art homework!"

"Do me a favour, would you Mel?" Angel asked. "When you're close enough to him so this doesn't sound rude, can you ask him why he has a beard? He's fifteen!"

I nodded. "No other boy in the year has any facial hair whatsoever. We're all beyond curious."

Mel shrugs. "I'll ask... eventually."

I got home and everything seemed normal enough. Alexander was the one to great me when I arrived. Alexander looks like a slightly younger Benidorm Cucumber (that's his name, right?) only he's a lot less polite.

"Robert. Did you do a satisfactory amount of work."

I sighed. "Yes, Alexander."

"Good. Do you know where your brother is?"

A frown settled on my face. "Jake? He isn't here?"

"His name is Jacob," Alexander says sharply. "If you don't know where he is go to your room and complete your homework."

I went to my room, but I didn't do any homework. Instead, I pulled out my phone and rapidly began to text.

Bobby: Jake, where are you? Alexander just cornered me and asked me if I knew.

It took a few minutes, but he eventually replied, to my relief.

Jake: sorry alexander decided to get on your case, he's a dick. i'm at hayden's, i'll be back in an hour though.

I nodded to myself before I realised Jake couldn't see it and quickly typed a reply.

Bobby: Okay. I can't tell Alexander, he thinks I'm doing homework, so you're on that duty. Consider it revenge for him starting on me about it.

Jake: fair enough, little brother.

True to his word, Jake was back in an hour, just before tea was ready. I heard the door open and shut, and two seconds later Alexander started having a go at him. I sighed, flipped the paper with my current art project (a drawing of a turtle, feel free to be impressed) over so you couldn't see the drawing and went downstairs with the intention of getting my brothers to stop fighting.

"I'm allowed to have friends, Alex!" Jake snapped as I reached the corridor where the front door was. I could see my dad finishing making dinner in the corner of my eye.

"My name is Alexander, and even if you were meant to waste your time with such attachments your work should still come first!" Alexander said, anger evident in his tone, posture and words.

"I've done work! I was at college all day! Everyone needs to have fun occasionally, just because you have a stick the size of the Eiffel Tower up your arse doesn't mean-"
