Chapter 3

****I can't believe I have managed to get another chapter up tonight! I am tired and hungry so no more until maybe after the weekend unless I get tome free time.****

Chapter 3

Regan and I awoke form anika just as Machala and Riley entered our room, after consoling them and getting them to calm down we linked Hayley and Isac to come to us, I didn't realise they were with Kate and when I saw her my heart broke, she looked almost dead herself, no longer bouncy and bubbly, just a tear smeared walking mess hardly there at all, I hoped we could cheer her up a little.

After telling everyone what we had found put less than an hour ago, we decided to split up, Kate couldn't allow herself to be hopeful, after spending the last few hours sat next to Mickeys still body and begging him to return she was finally coming to terms with the fact that he wasn't only to be told we were looking for him and when we found him he would be back with us, she was in denial, so I allowed her to go back to Mickey, feeling desperate to find him as her last worked to me were 'if' you find him I will be with him waiting for him to wake up! she said it as if mocking me, as if the idea was ridiculous and that I had lost my mind. to be honest I do feel like I am losing my mind. Aiden confirmed that the Hevon who broke the rules now no longer existed! I wasn't really affected by the news, it was the better of the scenarios I had thought up, he also estimated a timescale in which we would need to find and return Mickeys should before all was lost. We had roughly three days. The conditions in which the soul left the body were forced and fast, so the time it has is a lot shorter than usual and could be shorter than Aiden predicted we just don't know, which has everyone on edge and is probably the reason Kate is in denial.

Isac and Hayley have returned to Nate and Drew, who despite Mickey's death had continued in there leads on our allies and enemies with the added eagerness to re capture patent and kill him for what he did, hopefully they can find out something about where Mickey's soul could be or how we can start looking for it. I hadn't looked in the book for a while and mentally stored the thought away saying that I would re enter anika to take a peek once Regan and I had interrogated Kenny.

We are on our way now to Kenny's room, Noah had been with him ever since I found him crying over Mickey's body, we needed to know exactly what he saw, for some unexplainable reason we couldn't find the event of the attack in Kenny's or Mickey's files in anika and we cannot follow demons so there was no need in trying to find patent that way, so we have to go about gathering information the old fashioned way.

As we reach the door Isac links me to let me now Drew and Nate are currently tracking a Vampire lord and hope to have some information about 'soul bleeding' which is what the Hevon had done to Mickey. once they have it they will return to go over some more leads in anika. I take in a deep breath as Regan knocks on Kenny's door, I hear shuffling from the inside of the door and the corridor fills with the echo of the lock clicking open, Noah opens the door looking exhausted and sad as he smile's weakly and looks around us, confused when he doesn't see Machala. I place a hand on his shoulder as I enter trying to reassure him.

"It's okay, Machala is with Ashton and Ayesha, there in my room"

He relaxes, the spells on my room are strong, and with Ashton being ex Hevon and Ayesha a witch he seemed satisfied with his daughters protection. Stepping aside he let us pass in to the neat and plain room, a simple double bed filled the centre of the room on the back wall, and a small set of table and chairs sat and the right next to the only window in the room, where Kenny was sat slouched over with his head resting on his cross arms over the able. Walking slowly I head over and place my hand on his shoulder, he's not shocked by the touch and neither does he attempt to move his head to acknowledge me. Regan comes up and stands behind me as Noah takes his seat again opposite Kenny,
