Sapphire loved to sing. She was very popular, always in plays and got the lead role all the time. Everyone loved her, too. But she never thought she was popular. Even if she was, she cared about everyone.
She also went to a night club on occasions. She sang there and was loved by all. Even the mysterious square shape haired boy in the corner would clap for her. And that's when she felt appreciated. He never really clapped for anyone, but smiled at their songs.
Sapphire went to the night club in secret. She thought all of her friends would judge her because she would sing for random people.
Pearl would say, "it's to dangerous, Sapphire! You could fall or get kidnapped or-" and she would go on and on.
Peridot would say, "that is a waste of time! You should be do something productive."
And then Jasper would tell her to go do it and be herself. So Sapphire listened to what she thought Jasper would say. And liked it.
