Ruby grabbed his arm in pain and Jasper tried to comfort him. "It's okay... the ambulance is on its way," she said. Ruby groaned in response. Jasper heard the ambulance pull up, along with a few cop cars. "Up here!" Jasper called.
The doctors put Ruby into a stretcher and set her in the ambulance. Jasper had given all of their friends a call and told them what happened and they raced over. "RUBY!" Sapphire called as she saw Ruby. "H-hey Sapphy." Ruby replied weakly. Sapphire had a tear role down her cheek. "Your going to be okay," she said. "I know...." Ruby replied, reaching out to touch Sapphire.
The doctors took Ruby away to the hospital and the police took the man away. "Poor Ruby," Lapis said as everyone hopped into the car and followed the ambulance to the hospital.
