The plan was in action! Peridot, Pearl and Jasper got Sapphire to go to the park with them as they waited for Lapis and Amethyst, who had gone to take Ruby to the park as well. They sat at the park at 5 minutes from midnight when Jasper got a text from Lapis.
Lapis: Hey Jasper! We might be a bit late....
Jasper: Why?
Lapis: Ruby wants to get ice-cream before we go.....
Jasper: OMG!
Lapis: and he doesn't know what flavor he wants!
Jasper: just drag him out!
Lapis: NVM! He got vanilla on our way!
"Their coming!" Jasper yelled. "Who's coming?" Sapphire asked, kindly. "Remember that boy from the night club?" Peridot asked. Sapphire froze. As she was about to run away when Ruby, Amethyst and Lapis arrived. "HELLOOOOOOO!" Amethyst shouted, making everyone, other than Ruby who was used to it, cover their ears. "Hey! Aren't you that girl who sang at the club tonight?" Ruby asked Sapphire. "Y-yes. I am. And you are the boy who sang as well, correct," Sapphire said. Ruby nodded. "Hey Ruby! TAKE SAPPHIRE ON THE SWINGS WITH YOU!" Amethyst screamed once again. Ruby nodded and grabbed Sapphire's hand and ran over to the swings. Sapphire blushed so hard that it made Ruby ask if she was sick. The other girls snickered from their positions.
"So, I never got your name? Wasn't it Sally?" Ruby guessed. Sapphire smiled. "No, but good guess. It's Sapphire," she informed him. "That's a nice name," Ruby complimented. Sapphire blushed once again. "So is Ruby," she replied. Ruby smiled. Then, got off his swing and started to push Sapphire. Sapphire giggled and said," hey Ruby! Watch this!" Sapphire jumped off the swing in mid air and landed perfectly. "Wow! That's amazing!" Ruby cheered.
Later on, the two laid in a small patch of flowers. Sapphire put her head in Ruby's lap. They talked for an hour and exchanged phone numbers. Sapphire fell asleep in Ruby's lap and Ruby laid back and dozed of, too.
"Awww! Aren't they cute! Well, we better take them home," Pearl suggested. "Good idea!" Peridot agreed. Jasper grabbed Sapphire in one arm, and Ruby in the other. They got into Jasper's and drove off. "Let's take Sapphire home first. Ruby's parents don't worry about him much," Amethyst suggested. Everyone agreed and Sapphire woke up. ".....Oh thanks for taking me home, guys. See you tomorrow," Sapphire said and waved goodbye.
Then, the girls climbed threw Ruby's bedroom window and set him in bed. "Night bro," Lapis whispered and jumped out the window.
