this time, the camera lens caught us together.

you had the camera at a side view of us. you were holding my hand and i was... on my phone.

"I love you Leooooo." You smiled at me.

"love you too."

"tell the camera where we are!" you spun the camera in a circle to show the waves crashing into the shore.

i look over at the camera, annoyed.

"we are at the beach."

you looked so happy. so excited.

"and why's that?"

i smiled then. i could tell it was forced. so could you.

"it's our one year anniversary."

you pumped your fists in the air.

"you know it!"

why did she treat me so well after how i treated her? i couldn't see how beautiful she was or how strong she was at the time. i was too busy texting and hanging out with her sister.
