Thank you so much to everybody who supported me from the start. I honestly never thought I would make it here! Special thanks to "hidethetruth" for the cornucopia suggestion. Feel free to add any suggestions you may have. Keep reading, and now... Prepare for the 106th Annual Hunger Games! (PS Sherlock fans, who laughed when they saw the chapter name.

Amy stood in front of Clara, shocked. Unable to say anything. Clara tried to comfort her with just one minute before the games.

"You'll be fine. Your strong, and feisty. Other tributes are threatened by you." Clara said supporting Amy.

"I... I..." Amy couldn't fine words. She had a one in twenty-four chance of surviving, and that was all she could think about. Forty seconds left.

Meanwhile, Rory was in a separate room with Katniss.

"I love her." He said,"But she can't understand that."

"Try to tell her during the games. Do something courageous." She suggested.

"30-29-28-27-26-25"A robotic voice began.

"Good luck out there, lover boy. Remember, do something courageous."

Rory stepped into to the tube.

"19-18-17-16-15-14"The voice announced in Amy's room.

"You get out there, show them what you can do. Because I know you can." Clara told Amy.

"I will. I will. I'll see you again." Amy said, stepping into the tube, not looking back.

The tubes began to rise, and now they were outside. They now saw their arena. It was some sort of an abandoned city. Empty buildings went on for miles. All the tributes were surrounding an empty grocery store, with the wall they were facing completely knocked out. A screen over the logo of the store showed how long until the games started. Seven seconds, six, five, four, three, two... One. They all ran like hell.

Amy saw a backpack and grabbed it running as far as she could. She stopped at "Abby's Hardware" and ran into the building. She took a chain and lock from the shelves and blocked herself from the outside. She did this to the back door as well. There was a second floor so Amy decided to camp out up there. She emptied her backpack. In it was a full water bottle, a knife, and a rope. She looked out the window. No one appeared to be outside. She scanned for Rory, but there was no sign of him.

Rory grabbed a sword and little backpack. He ran past buildings, past "Earl's Gun Shop", He decided to stop there. He took a hand gun and a bunch of bullets near it. He stuck it all in the backpack an ran. He figured people would be coming to a gun store. A few blocks down was a "Subway". He stopped there. The door was unlocked. He checked the back room for a key. The room was big. big enough to stay the night in. He found the key and locked the front door. The only problem was that there was glass so people could see inside. There were some boxes of tin foil in the back room so he tried covering it with that.

Every tribute was scared, except for the four career tributes, that had formed an alliance. Martha, and Will of District 1, and Liz and Neon of District 2. They had overrun "Earl's Gun Shop", sitting there with weapons loaded.

Amy wished she could be with Rory. Rory wished he could be with Amy. Both longed for each other, questioning if the other was even alive. Both hoping to survive the night.
