Harry's POV:

Once Niall and I had entered the house we were bombarded with questions like 'How was Liam?' 'Did you have fun?' What did you do?' etc. We answered most of the questions with 'good' and 'yeah'. She had given us both a kiss on the cheek before rushing us up the stairs to get cleaned up for dinner.

We made our way back downstairs cleaned up and in different outfits. Bobby, Maura, and Greg were all waiting at the table. Niall and I ended up being seated across from each other. Not that I minded. I set my napkin in my lap before clearing my throat which so happened to end the silence.

"So how did the meet up with Liam go?" Maura asked while we dished up our plates.

"It went well. He's a nice lad. Would make a great mate." Niall smiled. "Seeing as though he is Niall's best mate, it makes sense.

"That's wonderful to hear love." She smiled. "So how is life going at home? Niall has been behaving? Not drinking too much or misbehaving I hope?" I fired at me.

I seemed to go mute for a second. That caught me totally of guard. The whole dinner table went quiet. What was I supposed to say? Niall hated talking about his problem and especially when someone else brings it up. But Maura didn't know any better or known what had been going on back at home. I suppose I should tell Maura right? It's his mother and other family members. Well...maybe that wasn't the best idea.

I proceeded to tell the Horan's what had been going on at home. I told them about his drinking and that he was going to be going to a class to get help. Niall kept his head down I didn't know how he felt about me sharing this information. The Horan's seemed to be quiet and kinda shocked.

"Sometimes he doesn't-" I was cut off by the scrap of a chair moving backwards on the wooden floor. Niall dropped his napkin on the table before making eye contact with me. It looked as though he had a pool of tears in his eyes, but there was also another emotion; anger. He then stormed upstairs his door slamming after him.

The table was quiet. Everyone continued to eat their food. I just starred at the spot Niall sat just a minute ago. I didn't want to eat anymore, I couldn't even if I wanted to. He looked angry and heartbroken. Niall shouldn't feel like he's being attacked in his own home. That was not my intention at all. It was supposed to be a good time at the Horan household and I just ruined it.

I tried to eat has much as I could off my plate, I didn't want to be rude. We had some small talk here and there. It seemed as though there was a lot of tension looming over us. All you could hear around the table was the clinking of silverware against plates. While I was off into space someone grabbed ahold of my hand giving it a little squeeze; Maura. She gave my a half smile, almost in a way that she pitied me.

Once everyone was finish I excused myself from the room making my way up the stairs. I tried the door handle to the room, it was locked. Niall had locked it when he stormed up here. I knocked on the door softly trying not to startle him.

"Niall, open up."

Silence

"Ni please."

Silence

After awhile I just gave up and walked back downstairs. I needed to talk to someone and fast. I didn't have my mum to comfort me so Maura was the next best opinion. Maura was doing the dishes. I started sobbing. Maura turned around a little alarmed. I cried while she held me. She rubbed my back trying to soothe me.

"What's got my Hazza so down?" She pulled my at distance wiping my tears away.

"I don't want to lose him!" I cried more. Maura seemed confused.

"Niall. I don't want to lose Niall."

"Harry he can't be that mad." I shook my head.

"No his drinking. It's getting so bad. I don't want him to be taken from me. I couldn't live without him. He thinks I'm just doing this because I'm selfish. I made him take these classes or I would have left. I feel horrible about that. I just want him safe." I hyperventilating. My heart was beating so fast. I could hardly breath.

"Hazza, breath. Just breath. Take a couple deep breaths." She rubbed up my arms soothing me as I took a couple deeps breaths calming down a little. I sniffled.

"Do you love my Niall?" She asked.

"More than you will ever know." I sniffled once more.

"Then you need to go upstairs and tell him that. I know he loves you just as much or he wouldn't be taking these classes." She said.

"Thank you." I smiled hugging her.

"You're welcome. There's nothing I wouldn't do for one of my babies." This made me smile.

I turned around making my way up the stairs to go talk to Niall.

"Harry, one last thing."

"Yeah."

"Don't give up on him." I half smiled before walking up the rest of the stairs.

I walked down the hallway seeing Niall's bedroom door. I went to twist the handle expecting it to be locked and having to knock on the door. But it wasn't. He must of left his room and forgot to lock it when he laid down. I quietly open the door. Niall was laying down his back facing me. Assuming he was asleep I closed the door quietly before walking to the bed. I lifted up the covers before slipping under the covers pulling Niall's sleeping body into my chest.

"I love you. I paused. "I just want you safe." I kissed the back off his head.

"I love you too."

And scene!
