She stormed into the room, furious. Walking up to him, she shook a finger at his face.
"Fuck you, Jack! I've had enough of your bullshit!"
The boy shot her an icy glare.
"Mind your own goddamn business, Cara!"
The girl was unfazed. "You don't appreciate me! Who's the one cleaning the fucking bed? Who's the one doing our laundry? Who the fuck is making sure you have a tidy desk space and--"
The boy slapped her across her face.
The girl slowly turned her shocked gaze back towards her boyfriend. Her eyes bore into his forehead, and she spoke in a deadly whisper. "You're a fucking monster, Jack. I don't think you understand that."
"Well, you know what you don't fucking understand, Cara?" He responded, his voice as light as he could make it.
They looked at each other in the eye, daring the other to speak first.
"What?" The girl finally asked, her voice as soft as a feather.
The boy's smile turned sickly-sweet and stifling, as if their conversation was nothing more than mere child's play.
"I never loved you."
