He came back 2 minutes later. " it was just my cat it knocked over a vase" he said. "Oh okay do you need help cleaning it up?" I asked him. "No" he said too quick. "Okay, well I have to go I told my mom I was at Katie's house." I said walking towards the door. "alright" he said as I walked out the door. I went on my crutches, and walked home. When I got home I went to my room. Hannah was on my bed waiting for me. "I texted Katie, you weren't at her house were you?" She said questioning me. " no I wasn't at her house." I responded sitting next to her. "Well I want to forgive you, so I will give you 2 minutes to explain why you didn't listen to me." She said "Hannah I really like him, I miss Bryce, but he is gone and I can't stay hung up on him forever. I still love him don't get me wrong, but he is gone and I will never get him back. When jake kissed me in the hallway, it brought back all of my old feelings. I like him again, I wish I didn't because of last time but I do." I said taking a breath. "Damn I didn't need that good of an explanation, okay I forgive you"she said smiling at me, I smiled back and hugged her. Yes finally she forgave me, I didn't want to loose her she was an amazing friend. " want to watch some Netflix?" I asked her. "what kind of question is that, of course I do." She responded enthusiastically. I put my Netflix on the tv and we layed down sprawled on my bed.
HANNAHS POV
I feel bad I shouldn't have said some of the things I said to Mady, I need to talk to her.
Me: Hey Katie can you tell Mady to call me she won't answer her phone.
Katie: what makes you think that she
will answer me?
Me: wait she is not with you
Katie: no
Me: when did she leave
Katie: she was never here
Me: okay bye
Katie: wait where is she
I didn't want to respond but I knew exactly where she was, she was with Jake. I sat in her room and I waited. She came home 5 minutes later and I heard her coming up the stairs. I stared straight at the door waiting for here to come in. She came in and jumped back, I think I scared her a little.
