His face instantly lit up "okay I will plan it tonight and tell you tomorrow". He said running away. Ugh I have to tell Hannah. I found her in the hallway. "Hey" I said smiling "what's up" she said. " ummm I have to tell you something but I don't know how you are going to react." I said nervous " just tell me I promise I won't be mad" she said, so I went for it " I said that I would go on a date with jake." I sad so fast. Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to say something but then closed it and looked disappointed. That's not how I thought she would react. "I can't believe you." She yelled at me " I am sorry Hannah I didn't know what to do I really like him, I don't think it will be like last time I really don't" I said back " whatever that just really showed me how important my opinion is to you and how much you value this friendship."she screamed. The whole school was watching us now I could feel it. I can't believe that she would am say something like that to me. We have been best friends for the longest time and I would never put anything else above our friendship. She just walked away. I finished the school day and went home. We walked in silence till we got to my house. "Bye" I said going in for a hug " bye" he said denying my hug and kissing me. After a minute my mom came outside silently like a ninja. "Ummmm, Mady!!!" She screamed at me. " shit" I yelled "well mom this is jake" I said pointing at him " yeah I don't care get in the house NOW!!" She yelled again. I mouthed sorry as I walked by jake. I walked in the house and the door was slammed behind me. Hannah was on the couch she looked up when the door was slammed, she saw me and went to her room. Great she won't talk to me. I walked up to her room and tried to apologize but she wouldn't even listen to me. I finally gave up and went down stairs " mom I am going to Katie's house" I yelled into the kitchen. "okay honey be careful" she said as I walked out. I wasn't really going to go to Katie's house I was going to see jake. I wanted to apologize for my mom. When I got to his house he answered the door. "Ummmmmm, hang on, um stay here for one second I need to clean up a little" he said backing away. I waited on the front porch, for him to come back, I waited 5 minutes. He finally came back and told me to come in. "Hey, what's up" he said "ummmm can we talk, I wanted to say sorry for my mom. She can be annoying sometimes." He laughed and we sat down on the couch "yeah I totally get it your mom doesn't like me" he said fake smiling. "No she just doesn't like any of my guy friends."
