Chapter 8

We continued to walk until we came across a huge door. Zach pushed hard until it opened with a loud creak.

"By the way, here." he said, handing me his hoodie. I smiled and hugged him before slipping my arms into it and zipping it up and walking through the door.

"What is this place?" Gray asked as we walked, poking and prodding at different animal pictures and different equipment.

"It's the old Jurassic Park. My dad used to work here before it was closed down 22 years ago. It's kind of sad that it just completely closed and this place was built virtually on top." I said, looking around.

As we opened another door, two broken Jurassic Park cars were parked, and I forced the piles of dirt and leaves off the hood to reveal the logo.

"We could drive these to get out." Zach said, tapping the hood.

I quickly grabbed a towel that was in the room and wiped off my makeup, looking in a cars window to see it obviously wasn't water resistant when I jumped into a waterfall. Luckily though I managed to get most of it off, and what was left actually looked okay, natural.

"Good idea. Gray there's some stuff in the room over there I'm pretty sure that we use to fix the cars, and could you also get me a bandage please?" I smiled and he hugged me before going to find the stuff.

I took off Zach's hoodie and put it in the car before getting to work.

"You fix cars?" Zach said, looking impressed.

"Yeah. I used to help my dad, my grandad and my brother all with their car stuff." I replied with a smirk.

Then I heard footsteps and saw Gray carrying some stuff and on top was my bandage. He handed it to me with a smile.

"Thanks angel." I said, ruffling his hair.

"Here let me." Zach said, taking the bandage from my hand. He looked at me with a smile as he took my arm and removed the temporary fabric from my arm. He then wrapped the bandage around my arm tightly, finishing it by tucking the end in with a little tape that he found.

"Thanks." I smiled. before remembering about what he said at the waterfall.

"I jumped." I said.


"What?" he asked, sounding confused.

"I jumped. You told me that if I jumped you would admit something to me."

"Oh yeah...erm...well..."

"What is it?" I urged, and he remained silent.

"What-" I tried again but before I could finish, I felt a hand around my waist pulling me towards Zach and his lips on mine, his muscled arms lingering around my waist. Before I could actually comprehend what was happening, it was over. He pulled back and looked me in the eye.

"That was it." he said.

I was speechless, no sound even left my mouth. My thoughts were interrupted by Gray.

"So are we gonna fix the car or what?" he said, and I saw the slightest smirk on his face.

I walked over and helped the boys with repairing the car and after I few seconds I heard Gray and Zach talking quietly.

"Do you think it's still out there?"

"I mean - no, we're safe here." Zach said, trying to sound confident but I can tell he was unsure.

"Go start it up." Zach said, pushing Gray playfully to the car. He pulled the lever and the car came to life. I jumped up and down I was so ecstatic.

"We did it!" I smiled giving a Gray a kiss on the cheek and ruffled his hair and he hugged me back.

"Hey what about me?" Zach said, groaning and pointing to his lips. I decided to tease him and I stood on my tip toes, getting close to his lips, then leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Seriously?" he said, looking annoyed.

"Come on then." I said, getting into the passenger seat sending him a wink.

Zach came and sat after handing me his hoodie, which I immediately put on, and we all put on our seatbelts.

"Wait, didn't you fail your driving test?" Gray asked Zach from the back seat.

"You what?" I said, looking at him.


"I only failed the driving part." he said, smirking cheekily, and starting the engine.

"You better not kill me." I shouted loudly over the engine.

"Don't worry. You're always safe with me." he said, looking at me, before driving off.
