Seika

Turns out the jerk had hit me in the lung and had caused internal bleeding. Luckily Tsunade patched me up quickly. Tsunade had agreed to go to Konoha to be Hokage. The trip back was relatively nice and calm. Yay for once no ambush. As we approached the gates a few ninjas were their to greet us but Tsunade just pushed right past them to treat Kakashi, Sasuke and Lee. I decided I'd go check on Haku.

I found him at my house. He was going through some paperwork and seemed busy. "Hi Haku! I'm back. How are you? I heard the council enacted the CRA program." When he heard my voice he looked up and smiled. Before I could put down my bag I was hugged. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you. I see now why everyone hates the council. Its been hectic." He pulled away from me and smiled. Luckily I had hid my blush. Im not use to hugs. "So how did it go with all the procedure?" I knew that the CRA had several test. "Well I passed all the test. No defects or problems. Ive got an extremely high probability to pass on my bloodline so they only require me to get one wife. Thats a relief to be honest. I dont think I'd be ok with two wives." Somehow I couldn't see him with two either. Though I did feel bad they were forcing him to get married. "So you were going through potential choices were you. Any that interest you?" He smiled a little at that. "One interest me and I plan to ask her soon." I was about to ask who but I received a letter to head to the Hokage tower.

I was led to a room in the tower where I came to see the council and Kage. "Seika, your promotion has been a big debate since you have been gone. You are a ninja but are from a civilian family making it difficult for the two flgroups to agree on a decision. However we havr came to a decision. Seika Takara you are being given the rank, chunnin and are being assigned to village relations and liaison." The Hokage says as a anbu gave me a vest. A lady then stood up who I knew as being Sakura's mother. "Normally this position is used only during times of war but with the chaos the sand and sound caused it has been reopened. You are perfectly suited for this matter Seika. You are a lethal and clever ninja but are also very gentle and none threatening. You are also not from a high ranking family. So you won't raise suspicion." I didn't know what to think, this sounded like a high honor. The Hokage dismissed me and I headed home. Well today has been fun. Time for a bath and nap.
