The Power of the Heart

Seika

I had spent the past few weeks thinking over how I feel over Haku. I liked him and he was sweet to me, I knew I would always be safe with him. But I was scared, afraid to love and lose them. I didn't realize how strong my feelings were till the day I nearly lost him.

It was a stormy day when we got the news. Sasuke had left the village, he had gone rogue and Shikamaru had formed a team on Tsunade's order and was heading to retrieve him. I was waiting with Tsunade for some reason. Apparently she wanted to have me here to keep tabs on the team. I didn't know if I could sense that far though I had never tried but she seemed confident I could. They had been gone a while and I was starting to get a bad feeling. I wasn't the only one though, it didn't take a sensor to feel Tsunade's worry. "Seika see if you can find them. Something isn't right." I sat down and began blocking out everything. I knew this would be difficult. It took me a while to find but finally I homed in on the team and it wasn't good. "I found them Tsunade, and it doesn't look good. Several have fading life signals and I can detect three fighting. One I'm sure is Haku. The other two is Naruto and Sasuke but they both feel wrong Tsunade." After I said that Tsunade got up quickly. "Seika wait by the main gate while I gather a team. I'll need you to guide us." I nodded and headed to the main gate. It didn't take long for Tsunade and her team to show. I didn't need an order to lead the way as we set off at a fast pace.

Tsunade

This was not good. So far kiba and Neji were almost dead when we found them. Choji was no better and drom what I heard Naruto and Haku were in trouble. " All of you get these men back to the village. Shizuna, you come with me, I may need help with Naruto, you too Seika." I have a bad feeling that something bad is waiting for us.

Seika

The sight we came upon was nothing we expected. Their were holes in the ground, trees uprooted, and ice was jutting out of the ground. The first person we found was Naruto. He had a whole so close to his heart. I was hyperventilating as Tsunade and Shizune went to healing him. I was panicked but relaxed when I saw that but my heart nearly stopped when.I caught sight of Haku.

Tsunade

I was so busy trying to save Naruto I forgot about Haku until I heard the scream. I turned to see Seika clutching him close. His eyes were lifeless and I knew he was gone. I watched as she began pumping chakra into his system, trying to revive him but I could tell it was to late. I told Shizune to go stop her as I was stabilizing Naruto. As she went to get up I started to feel a massive rise in chakra. At first I thought it was the 9 tails but as I looked I saw Seika pumping more and more chakra into his system. I was not believing it was her till I noticed she was drawing chakra from the very earth siphoning it to Haku. I had heard of the technique but only in legend. Sensor nin capable of drawing from the earth itself to help fuel powerful jutsu. As I watched I saw life return to Haku's eyes as the link between Seika and the earth stopped. As soon as she stopped she passed out but Haku was alive thanks to her. It seems that her heart was so strong not even death itself could stop her. Well at least she saved the person she loved. Even if she dont know it.
