Requested by Fallax853, i hope you like it.

The walk home was silent. Nothing aside from the gentle crunch of snow beneath your feet could be heard. But just because your mouths were quiet, that doesn't mean your thoughts were.

*Okay, you're going to do it, Sungjong! You can't chicken out!* He mentally shouted to himself, trying to build his courage.
Meanwhile, you were thinking of other things. *Paboya! It's late! I knew I shouldn't have agreed to go out tonight. Now I have even less time to study for my finals.*

you huffed and looked up to the moon. He looked to you, clearing his throat before speaking. "Chingu, gwenchanayo?"

You gave him a small smile. "Ne, gwenchana. I'm just a little tired."

"Oh? Want to ride on my back?"

You laughed lightly. "I'm fine. I can walk."

"Are you sure? I don't mind."

"Aniyo. I'm not that tired." Then you yawned.

He chuckled, and kneeled down in front of you. "Get on."

"What? No-"

"Will you just be quiet and listen to me?"

You blushed and slowly wrapped your arms around his neck. He lifted you up easily and began walking again. You didn't say anything, but you didn't need to. Your heart was beating loud enough for Sungjong to know what you were feeling. Little did you know that he felt the same way.

As you rounded the corner, snow began slowly falling from the sky. You both looked up, letting the snowflakes lightly kiss your faces as they fell.
You patted his head. "We should hurry before it gets worse."

"Arasseo!" He smiled and started running around and spinning in circles.
You laughed, causing his heart to beat just a little faster. Sungjong thought your laugh was one of the most beautiful things about you.

You had your face pressed against his back and her eyes shut tight. When she realized that the spinning stopped, you looked up. "Oh...we're here."

You pouted slightly and slid off Sungjong's back. *Did this have to end so quickly?* you bit your lip, looking up at him. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

As you turned to leave, Sungjong caught you wrist. "Wait!"
Your stomach did a little jump. *Is he confessing?* you turned back around. You took a deep breath before, meeting his eyes. "Y-yes?"

*This is it, Sungjong! It's now or never!* He stared in your eyes, his heart beating quickly. "I...I have something to tell you."

You peered up at him. "What is it?"
He swallowed. "I...I just wanted to say...I wanted to say..." You blinked and he lost his nerve. "...see you in class."

"Oh..." your heart sank. *I guess he really doesn't like Me.* you turned back around, calling out a goodnight before escaping the cold, and slipping inside.

Sungjong's shoulders sank and he put his face in his hands. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" He repeatedly whispered to himself as he slowly retreated down the street.

Inside your house, you leaned against the door, still in a daze. You couldn't believe that you thought he really was going to confess. *He would never like me!* you sighed loudly and looked out the window. Sungjong wasn't even twenty feet away from your house yet, making him clearly visible.

Just as you peeked out, he looked back. You blushed, but continued to give him a shy smile and wave. He waved back, smiling shyly as well. Then the curtains closed and you disappeared from his view.

Sungjong didn't like this feeling. He didn't want to end the night like this. He wanted to go home knowing that you knew his feelings. Sungjong wanted to wake up the next day knowing that you were his.

Suddenly he stopped in his tracks. "I'm not going to let you slip away."
He turned around and ran the short distance back to your door. He banged on the door loudly, hoping that you'd answer.

The loud noise scared you. You jumped up from the couch and looked out the window. Sungjong stood in front of your door, looking cold and desperate. Immediately you threw the door open.

He didn't give you any time to speak. He cupped your face and smashed his lips to yours. At first, you didn't react. Then a few seconds later, you melted into the kiss. You closed her eyes and placed your hands in his chest.

The kiss itself was urgent but it was full of all the passion and love for each other that the two of you had been hiding. You kissed for what seemed like hours but in reality, was no more than a minute.

Sungjong reluctantly pulled away, but just enough to still feel your soft lips against his.
He opened his eyes and whispered to you. "I came back to say goodnight."
You smiled, looking into his eyes and wrapping your arms around his neck. "Now it's a good night."
