Insecurity (L/Myungsoo)

Ever since you were young you have always been insecure with yourself. It all started from where there was a fire in your house and you got caught in it. You have now got second degree burns on your back and shoulders and a few scars on your face. You try to cover it up with make up but it doesn't work.

When you started college you had friends but as soon as you started to get bullied your friends ditched you because they didn't want to get bullied for being around you.

Today was no different from any other day, you would walk into college and you would get bullied straight away. You kept your head down because you didn't want them to see you crying. Whilst walking to your class you bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry please don't hit me and forgive me i wasn't looking were I was going"

"Why would I hurt you"

"Normally people hit me when I Bump into them"

"Please stand up"

You got up from the floor and you looked up, you saw this handsome young boy standing in front of you. You looked straight into his dark brown eyes, was i in heaven you thought to yourself.

"My name is Myungsoo but my friends call me L"

"Hello Myungsoo .. ..my name.. is _____(y/n).

"Nice to meet you , Hey would you like to get a coffee with me after college"

"You want to get a coffee with me, but why there's so many other prettier girls than me"

"To me there isn't, I think your beautiful" you blushed at the sound of his words.

"So is that a deal"
You nodded and you walked away to your class.

You couldn't concentrate properly because you kept thinking of what was going to happen after class. The bell went and lesson had finished, you didn't write any notes from class but you didnt mind you knew you could catch up next week.
You left the classroom and headed to your locker when you heard someone call your name.

"Hey ____(y/n) you ready"

"Yes"

"Okay let's go then"

You both left college and walked to a nearby cafe. You sat down on a table near the window and you ordered your drinks. You kept your head down as you didn't want Myungsoo to see your scars. 5 minutes later your drinks arrived.

"____(y/n) look at me. please, I think you are beautiful "

"How am I beautiful with all these scars "

"Beauty isn't always what's on the outside , it what's on the inside too"

"But. ...I"

"Look I think you are an amazing person, I dont care about the scars they make you who you are"

"But people in school will laugh at you and Bully you for being around me"

"I don't care about being popular all I care about us being around true friends and people who I care about, I think your a wonderful person and I love you"

Those words sank your heart and ever since that day Myungsoo had been your best friend no not just my best friend but also my boyfriend. Sometimes you regretted saying yes to him because of how he was treated but you know deep inside he loved you and he didn't care what others thought of him because he was by my side.
