Summary:
(Teenage Mavin)
Michael and Gavin have always been two very adventurous teenagers but when Gavin stumbles upon his greatest find yet, an abandoned amusement park, the two end up having a better time than imagined.

I wiggled my pencil across my homework, knowing half of it was probably wrong. I was never very good at science. That was Gavin's area of expertise.
I sighed, looking at my phone. I turned it on, noticing it was going on eleven. I rubbed my eyes, remembering the other two pages of ELA homework I still had to do.
Suddenly, there was a tap at my window. I looked back, thinking it was just the glass settling or something. That is, until a tiny stone hit it again.
I smirked and got up, opening the window. I narrowly dodged another pebble, glaring down at the person who threw it.
"What Gavin. Do you even realize what time it is?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I do. But I found something I think you're gonna love," He told me, trying to keep a little quiet.
"Gavin, I don't want to see another decapitated deer," I mumbled, referring to his last find.
"No, this is cooler than that. I promise you'll think it's cool," Gavin persuaded.
I sighed, thinking over my options and consequences. If I went with him now, I'd probably never get my homework done, ending in me having detention. However, Gavin and I's adventures were the adventures of a lifetime.
I decided to go with the latter.
"Fine, Gavin. I'll go," I told him.
I climbed over the window and jumped down to the patio roof. I then lowered myself to the railing and stepped on that before jumping down.
"Hello, love," Gavin purred, hugging me. I hugged him back, breathing in his sweet scent.
"Okay, where are we going?" I asked him, actually beginning to get excited.
"Somewhere magical. You'll see," Gavin told me, winking.
I smiled, knowing Gavin wasn't gonna tell me. Gavin always had a way of keeping the final destination a secret, which made the adventure all the more exciting and thrilling for me. It always gave me an adrenaline rush at his mysterious behavior. Which was one of the main reasons I fell in love with him.
Gavin and I walked down the street, hand in hand. He would give me glances out of the corner of his eye in which I would return or pretend I didn't see. Along with that, we kept completely silent through the journey.
Gavin stopped at a dirt road, making me lose my grip on his hand. I returned to him, looking down the dark dirt road, trying to remember where it led to.
"Come on, love," Gavin whispered as he began walking down the road. I felt a chill run up my spine at the idea of walking through a dark forest on a dirt road that led to God knows where.
However, I did tell Gavin I'd go with him. And I wasn't about to admit I was a little scared, especially to him.
I ran after him, watching him reach his hand out for me to clasp again. I did, squeezing his hand gently and letting him lead me through the forest again.
Once we got to the end of the road, I gasped in surprise.
"What do you think? A pretty nice find, huh?" Gavin smirked, gripping my hand tightly.
"Holy shit, Gav. How'd you find this?" I asked him.
"Time, some adventuring on my own. And then Geoff told me about it," Gavin told me, smirking. I smiled too and laughed a little.
I gazed at the sight before me. It was incredible in the moonlight, the metal rides and rollercoasters glistening under the light of the moon. I could pick out the different rides easily and I smiled, feeling like a young child again.
"Well, let's go," Gavin told me.
"Wait, we're going in?" I asked, surprised.
"Hell yeah! It'll be fun, come on," Gavin told me, grabbing my hand again and pulling me along with him.
He lead me to the main gate, jumping up and beginning to climb up the gate. I quickly read the sign that talked about how if you went inside the theme park that you'd get in trouble and blah blah blah. Honesty, if the authorities ever found out about all of Gavin and I's expeditions we'd be thrown in jail for at least ten years. But, Gav and I were good about not getting caught so this wasn't a problem for us.
I jumped over the gate and Gavin began leading me through the park. I gapped around at it, seeing the broken rides and the graffitied walls. It had a very creepy feel to it and I felt the adrenaline rush that I craved on every adventure with Gavin begin.
"Isn't it top?" Gavin asked me.
"Yeah," I whispered in awe.
Eventually Gavin led me to the Ferris wheel. He climbed up onto the platform and looked down at me.
"Ready for the best part?" Gavin asked me. I climbed up next to him, feeling my excitement turn to fear as Gavin began climbing up the Ferris wheel.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Climbing up. Come on, I want to show you something up here," Gavin told me.
I gulped, trying to swallow my fear. Eventually, I gave into the temptation and forgot about my fear as I followed Gavin into the mess of metal bars.
Gavin waited for me as I climbed my way up. He began climbing alongside me saying that if one of us falls, the other will be there to catch them. I knew he only said that to try and reassure me.
As we climbed higher, I had to constantly remind myself not to look down. I didn't even want to know how high we were but by judging how little of the Ferris wheel we still had to climb, it had to be pretty high.
Suddenly, my hand slipped from a bar and I found myself dangling by one hand on the Ferris wheel. In that instant I looked down, noting that Gavin and I were probably fifty or more feet in the air. I screamed out, feeling fear begin to course through my body until Gavin grabbed my wrist and pulled me up to him.
"You okay?" He asked me, wrapping a protective arm around me. I sighed and nodded, watching him smile and continue climbing. My eyes widened and I sighed out following Gavin some more.
Finally, we reached where Gavin wanted. Gavin hauled me up into the carrier and I sat next to him, trying to stop shaking.
"Pretty nice, right?" Gavin asked me.
I gazed out at the horizon, gapping at how beautiful it looked. It was defiantly a sight of a lifetime. Millions of tiny stars were scattered across the sky and the moon was ever bright in the sky. In the distance you could see Austin outlined perfectly in bright lights while the rest of the world stretched out around it.
"Wow..." I breathed, seeing Gavin smile out of the corner of my eye.
"See Mi-cool. I wouldn't have dragged you all this way for another decapitated deer. I knew you'd like this," Gavin purred, obviously feeling proud of himself.
"Well, this is an incredible view, but maybe it wasn't totally worth my near death experience climbing up here," I reminded him, giving him a pointed look.
"Well... Every trip can't go perfectly, can it?" Gavin pointed out, smiling his usual dazzling smile.
"I suppose not," I muttered, wrapping an arm around his waist.
"Hey, Mi-cool," Gavin said.
"Yeah?" I responded, looking over at him.
"I love you," Gavin told me, sweetly. I smirked and wrapped my other arm sound his waist, feeling him do the same.
"I love you too, Gavvy," I purred.
I pressed my lips against his, feeling him smile into it. I smiled as well, knowing that Gavin was happy.
And out of the all adventures Gavin and I had, this one was by far the best.
