*ring ring*

  "Hello?" I said half asleep into my phone with no idea of who it is.
  "CORA!" I cringed at the volume and how high pitched the sound was. Meaning it was my best friend Aria.
  "Aria? Why so early?" Looking at the time, it was 9 on a Saturday.
  "Are you coming to my mom's office? You have an appointment  in an hour" She said
  "Oh right" I said getting up. Aria's mom owns a tutoring service down town and I help out as much as I can. Plus I could always use the extra money, I live in the guest house of my sister's boyfriend's place. My parents are a no go for me. Meaning they are alcoholics who can't get their life together. But I'm used to it at this point. My sister Sasha and her boyfriend Danial, are both really supportive of me.
  "Who am I tutoring again?"
  "Cora, how could you forget? It's Jack. Jack Gilinsky. Quarterback hottie"
  "Oh right , well-"
  "Yea Mom? Ok. Gotta go Cora, see you chica" and with that she hung up. I walked over to my closet and grabbed a grey T-Shirt and some pink ripped jeans. I just brushed my hair out and sprayed my sea salt spray in it. (This stuff is life) I did my makeup and added a winged eyeliner like the basic bïtch I am. I quickly walked out the door with my leather jacket, black
Raybans and an apple juice. I didn't have time to make coffee or tea, so this is it.

I got into my car , turning on some drake and drove to work. When I got to work, I parked my car and walked in. Aria was there at the secretary desk on the phone.
  "Matt! Why the fück? Okay whatever you do you. Bye" and with that she hung up. "Hey girl"
  "Boyfriend struggles again?" I laughed
  "If he could learn to take a joke, we would be perfectly fine" she said looking down
  "This is why, I don't do relationships"
  "And I still think you are weird for that" I rolled my eyes "Your in room C, it's biology"
  "Yippee" I said sarcastically and walked into the pastel room with a huge window looking out into the parking lot. "Oh shit" i said as I remembered I left my phone in my car. Quickly, I ran out and into someone. "Sorry"
  "It's all good, damn you cute". It was Jack. I stood there as he eyed me all over. "I'm Jack"
  "I'm late" I said walking back to my car and grabbing my apple juice and phone. Aria met me at the door.
  "Jack is already in there. He didn't even recognize me" she said rolling her eyes and crossing her arms.
  "Yea me either, but it's g, we aren't the ones failing a freshman class as a senior" I laughed and walked into the room. "Okay let's get started" Startled, he looked up at me.
  "You're my tutor? But you're hot"
  "Just shut up and turn to page 420"
  "Hold up, aren't you the chick I ran into in the parking lot?"
  "Yea. I'm Cora. Ok now let's begin with the carbon cycle" I said and thus began the longest hour of my life. Boy has the looks but definitely not the brains.
  "So you're telling me that the carbon in the grapes I had for lunch, could have been in dinosaurs? No fücking way" he said
  "It is very possible"
  "So what college do you go to?"
  "Pardon?"
  "UCLA , USC?" I laughed as a response "So like community college then?"
  "Boy, I'm in highschool" he squinted his eyes at me, which caused me to notice his eye brows. They're nice, I approve.
  "No way, really? What school do you go too?" He genuinely asked
  "South high" I said
  "You go too the same school as me?"
  "We have art together"
  "I would have noticed you though"
  "Yea well, I'm not in your popular crowd. I hang with my friends and that's all I really care about.Oh look at that, your hour's over, see you next week." I said getting up and leaving. Quickly, I got in my car and drove home. I'm not hurt that he has never noticed me before, I just feel bad for how ignorant he is. Plus he called me hot so my day wasn't too bad.
  Once I got home, I went into the main house where my sister was doing some weird shït with essential oils. "Hey Sash" I sat down on the bar stool.
  "Oh hey, want to try this face scrub?" She said showing me a bowl of green stuff.
  "Maybe later"
  "How was tutoring?"
  "Fine, I tutored Jack Gilinsky. He's like really good at football" I said with no real care.

"That's cool hun" She said putting a bowl of grapes infront of me. Which reminded me of Jack, I smiled to myself. He was cute and well right now thats the only good thing about him. Monday will be interesting.
