Akise was facing the biggest problem of his life as soon as he got back home. He needed his parents approval to live with (f/n). Both him and (f/n) already tried to brainstorm on their way back from school but they still got stuck anyway.

"Moreover, why do I help you with this? You wanted this so I thought you already had an idea ready." (F/n) shook her head, feeling slightly in disbelief although she wasn't annoyed by Akise's plan. It was lonely in her home anyway, being alone and she wasn't that good with spooky stuff so she often would just cross her fingers and hoped that a ghost won't play peek-a-boo with her whenever she heard something clattering around the house.

That was what she said to Aru a few minutes ago and he faced his parents now. "So you want to move out?" The head of the family, meaning Aru's dad asked him with raised eyebrows. "Why? You already live close enough to school and we can't supervise you and you will play that dumb detective game of yours. You're already in high school!"

"Yes, I want to move out and it's not dumb! I properly investigate things and even the police regard me highly. If you don't believe it, then you can ask chief investigator of the Sakurami Police Force, Nishijima Masumi. Kurusu Keigo too." Akise already knew the fact that his parents regard his passion as a childplay but most parents will think of their child's passion as childplay.

They would be the one who will get proud if he made his passion into his job, doing well in it too, and that's just how parents work unfortunately.

"Where?"

"To a friend's house."

"Friend?" Aru's mom squinted her eyes at the albino and Aru sighed.

"It's really a friend, well, not so much but a boss can be a friend too," Aru said, half-lying that (f/n) is his boss. Maybe it'll push them into thinking that he'll be living with Nishijima.

And that worked pretty well especially when Nishijima was already notified earlier in the day to just help him into lying- Nishijima helped because he just thought that it would be fun to see.

"Yes, yes. Of course, I'll take good care of your son, he's quite brilliant despite being so young so it's a good thing that you let him grow his skill more with fieldwork. He's a promising young man so I really hope that you let him do his passion more, all of us in the police department are hoping to work with him as a colleague once he finishes his training in the police academy after university." Nishijima just continued to smooth talk into letting Aru go, not only was it for fun, the chief thought that Akise should be flying free from his nest now because he believed Akise could take care of himself better than a normal high schooler.

Akise's parents relented and they let their boy go to live outside with his "mentor", while in reality he would be living with his classmate who's a girl. (f/n).
