Akise was currently doing chores with you and now he's starting to finish putting your dirty laundry into the washing machine when he thought that maybe you'll miss one or two clothes in your room since you usually tend to get lazy to put your dirty laundry in the laundry basket. So he made his way up to your room and just opened it since he thought you're cleaning the kitchen only to see your head went into your drawer just to search for something. "What are you doing?"

"Huh? Ow!" You were surprised by his arrival that you hit your head onto the drawer's ceiling. "Knock first!"

"I thought you're in the kitchen," Akise shrugged his shoulders. "So, any leftover laundry?"

"No," you said, hurriedly closed your drawer.

"What are you searching anyway?" Akise sighed. "Let me help you to find it,"

"It's nothing serious," you said albeit a little too quickly and that earned Akise's suspicion.

"Really?" He raised his eyebrow questioningly at you.

"Yes, out! I'll be cleaning my room now," you pushed him out from your room and closed the door on his face. Akise sighed, still feels intrigued by what you store inside that drawer. But there's no way he'll snoop around now so he will do his chores while keeping an eye out of you in case your drawer left unattended.

Akise was wiping the sliding doors in the living room, whistling tunes that are very similar to princesses singing; that's what you always thought but then he whistles Fiona from Shrek's singing, making you regret your own compliment. And he heard the shower start, telling him that you already did all your chores and now is showering to wash off sticky sweats and clouds of dust. His whistling stopped and smirked evilly as he tiptoed his way to your room, slightly hoping that it's unlocked.

His hand reached for the doorknob, twisting and turning it before he pushed it in. It opened. Akise cheered silently and quickly opened your drawer, searching for the thing you kept hidden away from him.

"Huh, now let see what is this," Akise pulled out a heavy long looking object from your drawer and unwrapped the cloth covering it. It was a katana, a brand new katana with a gold Higanbana flower as a symbol on the polished red mahogany wooden sheath. There's also a little note tied onto the hilt. He opened the note to see your beautiful cursive writing.

"Happy birthday, Akise Aru. I specifically requested this katana to be taken care of for you since we tend to get into a serious mess now and then. You really need to learn how to use a gun since you always fight in a close range.

But my birthday is a month away. Akise thought to himself and you suddenly slammed open the door to your room to see him already unwrapped the gift from you that supposed to be for the next month. Your eyes widened and you smack his head with your fist. "Who said you could just snoop around my drawer?!"

"Sorry... I got curious," Akise said with a guilty look on his face as he rubbed his head that's throbbing from your hit before he smiled brightly at you. "This is illegal but thank you for the gift,"

You blushed and looked away. "W-well... Since you already find out about it, let's just think that it's for your belated birthday present,"

"You even think about the red spider lily flower. And when I'm born in summer," Akise said to you. "Any meaning?"
