Aria Winters

"Aria!"

"ARIA!!!" My mom yelled my name over and over again until I finally woke up. I sat up against my head board and shook my head.

"What?!" I was still half asleep, thinking about what my mom could have possible woke me up for at 6:00 in the morning, but then I remembered.

"JUILLIARD!" I yelled, running down stairs to the kitchen.

"Let me see, let me see!!" My mom gave me the letter. I looked into her eyes and smiled.

"I'm surprised you haven't opened it yet." I let out a laugh. I quickly opened up the letter and read what was inside. A frown suddenly filled my face.

"Aria... What??" My mom gave a worried look.

"I-I didn't..." I covered my face and started to cry, when all of a sudden I couldn't take it anymore. I started to laugh and laugh.

"Aria?!! Is this some kind of joke?" I couldn't speak because of my laughing. I handed her the letter and took a tissue from the tissue box in the living room.

"YOU DID MAKE IT!!" My mom ran to me and gave me a hug, tackling me onto the floor.

"Okay okay! Get off I can't breath." I laughed out. I took the letter from my moms hands and hugged her.

"Keep the letter Ari. I'm so proud of you." My mom whispered.

*ring* *ring*

It was Luke calling. I gave my mom a worried look and looked down at the letter.

"Go tell him Ari." My mom placed her hand on my shoulder and gave me a soft smile.

"Hey Luke."

"Hey! What's up?"

"Uh... Hey can I come over real quick."

"Why what's wrong??"

"I'll just let you know when I get there." I hung up and walked up to my room, getting dressed. I put my grey sweatshirt on, black skinny jeans, and white adidas on. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and brushed my hair. I grabbed my phone and my little purse, putting the letter inside. I looked out the window to see if Luke was standing outside. He wasn't.

"Here I go." I said softly.

I walked over to Luke's house and knocked on the door. I put my hands into my jean pockets until he opened the door.
