-20 minutes later-

Aria winters

I could hear quiet sirens fading away in the background. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't.

"Nurse, we need to take her into the operating room right now." Everything sounded like an echo.

"Oh god please say she'll be okay." I heard a voice whimper.

"She's loosing blood fast. We need to get her in now!!"

"It's okay sweetie. Mom's here. You're gonna do fine. You're gonna make it." I felt my mom grab my hand, but it slowly pulled away. I couldn't feel a thing. I couldn't move anything. I tried to force my eyes to stay open, when I saw that they put a mask over my mouth and nose, causing me to doze off.

Everything turned pitch black. I suddenly saw a white light shining towards me. I was able to walk. I rubbed my eyes when all of a sudden I could finally see. I was in the hospital. I looked at my surroundings, touched my face, rubbed my eyes again. Was this some sort of dream?

"E-excuse me?" I waved at the lady standing behind the desk at the lobby. I got no response.

"Hello??" I still got no response. I turned around and saw my mom sitting in the waiting room. I ran over to her.

"Mom??? It's okay I'm here." I bent down on my knees and sat in front of her. Still no response. I stared at her crystal tears streaming down her soft cheeks.

"What's going on?" I whispered to myself. I heard a nurse mention my name to the lady behind the desk. I ran over and listened to their conversation.

"Here is some information about Aria Winters. Aria is currently in operating room #6 on floor 3. Approximate length of the surgery is about 4 hours. She also has some cuts that are in need of stitches."

The nurse handed her a folder with my information.

"Operating room #6..." I whispered. I ran to the elevator and kept clicking the button. It wouldn't open. The elevator across opened up. There was a lady walking into the elevator. I ran inside and pressed 3. I looked at the lady who continued to stare at the elevator doors. It's like I wasn't there. No one can see me or hear me.

"Operating room #6... Operating room #6..." I kept repeating the room number over and over again. The elevator doors finally opened. I ran to operating room #6. I saw my own body through the window. Laying hopelessly. I saw a woman bend over and whisper in my ear.

"It's all up to you now baby. Stay strong you can survive this." I heard in an echo.

My choice... Meaning I get to choose whether if I want to live? The woman closed up the curtains, covering the window. I went back down to the waiting room and saw my aunt Vicki there. Hazel was there too. I wanted to hug them all so much, but I couldn't. The real me was in the operating room.

"The last time I saw her was not too long ago. We were hanging out at the cafe. Then she told me that Luke was... Leaving. I asked if she wanted me to come over and then after that, our call got disconnected." Hazel looked at my mom with distress.

"I heard people screaming and yelling the words 'help' and then I heard sirens so I went outside to check it out... All I saw was my daughter laying on the road. I never felt so scared in my life." My mom bursted out into tears. I felt some tears streaming down my face. I sat next to my mom and continued to listen to their conversations.

"The guy in the car... He crashed into one of the trees. He was alive, but he said his breaks weren't working. He said he tried to move away from Aria but he couldn't do it fast enough." My mom looked over to the lady at the desk, then looked back at Hazel and Aunt Vicki.

"She's going to be okay. I believe in miracles." Hazel had the words 'hope' shown in her eyes. I knew she didn't want to think about the bad things that could happen to me.
