Ok so my best friend is going on a date with the biggest asshole in the world and I'm supposed to be here and do nothing. So not happening. I swear I'm going to throw something at a wall. I grab my phone and text Melody.
S: Heyyyyy. Marvel marathon?
M: Sorry. Can't rn. Getting ready for this date. Can't wait to get this over with.
S: Haha. Ok bai.
M: Yeah maybe after. Come to my house at 8.
S: K. I'll be there
Great. Now I'll just have to find something to do till then.
7:40. Yay best friend Marvel time. I go to grab Alec's keys but then realize he isn't here. Whoever thought he would get into a college, let alone NYU. Now I have to walk. Stupid Alec. I grab a few of our favorite movies and walk outside and start walking to Melody's house. Within 10 minutes I walk onto her street. I get to the edge of her driveway when a car pulls up. Of course, me being the nosey person I am stayed right where I was and watched. The door opened and I see a leg step out of the car, when she is pulled back into the car. I see the two silhouettes from the back window. One leans in and they kiss. After a minute or two Melody steps out of the car and the car drives away. She starts to walk up the driveway when she stops and turns around. Busted. "Sarah how much did you see?" I open my mouth to talk and my voice comes out strangled and cracked. "All of it."
