We walked into H&M and Melody started throwing a whole bunch of things at me to try on. "Seriously," I said holding up a skirt melody told me to try on,"When was the last time you saw me wear a skirt OR ANYTHING GREY!" "Ugh," she said, taking back the grey skirt and handing me a purple one. "Better," Melody asked. "Much better," I said, smiling evilly at Melody. She rolled her eyes and pulled out a white crop top. She found a few more pieces of clothes that would make really cute outfits, since she is the one with a dress sense, and gave them to me. "Gods Mels! Am I seriously supposed to try on all of these?" "That's only 3 outfits! Now go," she said pointing to the dressing room. I decided to try on the purple skirt and white crop top on first. I put on the skirt and pulled the top over my head and walked outside to show Melody and my jaw dropped when I saw something. It wasn't Melody, who was looking at some really cute flowy tops, it was outside the store. I saw Zach kissing, wait no, making out with Kennedy, one of the most popular girls in our school. If you've ever seen Mean Girls, Kennedy is the exact equivalent to Regina George. Kennedy is your stereotypical definition of mean girl. She has straight blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, which are probably colored contacts to make her look pretty. At first I was about to walk right over to Melody and tell her, but then I remembered how Melody told me how she thought Zach might not be a bad guy anymore. While I was debating with myself on whether to tell her or not she turned around and squealed. "Oh my gods! That looks amazing on you," she said, "You're totally wearing that on your date!" I smiled. I finally decided that I should tell her. "Melody. I have to tell you something." She put the clothes she was holding down and said,"Ok, what is it?" I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what I was about to tell her. "When I first came out of the dressing room to show you the outfit, when you were looking at tops, I saw Zach outside cheating on you with Kennedy." I saw my best friend's eyes, which were full of life only 2 minutes ago, fill themselves with sadness. I turned to see if they were still there and they were. "They're right there," I said pointing at where they were standing, sucking faces and trading saliva. At first she looked like she was going to cry, but I knew my best friend. After everything she had been through I knew she wouldn't cry over a guy, that to a douchebag of a guy. "Are you okay," I asked. "Yeah I'm fine," she said,"Go put on your normal clothes and bring that so we can buy it. I have a plan." I went and did what she said and Melody told me her plan. Zach is going to pay for hurting my best friend.
