I felt bad for not telling Sarah what happened earlier. We tell each other everything and I wasn't telling her one of the most important things ever. When we got to school I got out of the car and walked as fast as I could to my locker. It seems that the only thing anyone was talking about was the 'earthquake'. As I dumped books and binders into my locker, Toby walked up to me. "Melody. Are you okay? You know after what happened this morning," he asked. I grabbed what I needed for first period and shut my locker. "Yeah. I'm fine," I lied. Toby looked at me, probably not buying a word of what I was saying. "Okay. If you want to talk about it I'm-," he started when he was cut off by Zach. "Hey babe," he said, snaking his arm around my waist. For the first time in probably all of history I didn't push him away from me or say something sassy or snarky. I just let his arm sit there. "Hey," I said. I turned my head to look at Toby. He looked annoyed and dare I say a little jealous. Oh I'm so using this against him sometime. Everytime Zach wasn't looking in Toby's direction, he would send a glare his way. If he liked me I would say something like, what am I Bella and you guys are Jacob and Edward fighting over me? But he doesn't like me like that. Since all three of us are in the same first period we walked together, though I'm pretty sure Toby didn't like a moment of it since Zach was there. Before Zach and I walked into class I kissed him on the cheek and then went in and sat in my spot next to Toby.
