2035, 12 January, Mars

I opened my eyes and everything was so bright. I was confused, lost. I lifted my palms to shield myself from the bright light and I saw red. Then the metallic bloody smell hit me and I started to breathe harder. Biting down on my lips hard, I sat up and was horrified to see two dark red bodies next to me. I scrambled away from them and buried my face in my arms. I was so scared. It was so dark...

"Don't be afraid. There's nothing to be afraid of, they were scaring you and you were defending yourself." The same voice whispered into my head. My eyes shot wide open, I clutched onto my chest, desperately trying to breathe. I had... I had killed them. My parents... No. I began to scream. I screamed for my parents, I screamed for everyone that left me, I screamed for the last bit of sanity in me before I allowed the darkness to overtake my entire body.

2038, 11 January, Earth

As I walked through his house, I knew she was here. I could smell her, hear her heartbeat. However, I did not want to kill her. As that thought just entered my brain, red seeped into my vision and I clenched my fist. I was no longer myself, I was only a small part of myself, locked away. Then I felt a cool and sharp blade nicked my throat and I froze. She was behind me, my step-sister, Emmaline.

"You do not know how much I want to kill you now." She hissed out.

The words rolled down my tongue, "Why don't you do it now? You can't do it, can you?" I know that I was playing fire with fire but no longer did I care about the consequences. As I had foreseen, the blade tightened against my throat. I smirked against my will. It always felt like someone was controlling me but I never say, there was no point to. Suddenly, the blade was off me.

"It never was you, I was right." She smirked at me and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. She shook her head with a careless grin. With her right free hand, she tossed me a necklace and raised her eyebrow, indicating me to wear it. When I wore it, it felt like I had control over myself again.

"Wow, what happened here? Why isn't he killing you?" Bradley came into the room. I smiled at the freedom I finally had.

"It wasn't him who killed my parents. The one who killed your parents had possessed him to do the things he would never do. He wasn't the bravest person I know when I was younger." She shrugged her shoulders as I glared at her, feeling offended with the latter part.

"Wow, that made me feel so much better..." I made sure to add as much sarcasm as possible. She just rolled her eyes and Bradley did that too. She nudged my shoulder before hugging me. I was caught off guard and stiffened at the contact.

"Welcome home, Brother. Please remember to look at all the gifts I got for you. Please remember this time round." She whispered before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek. I felt the heat spreading to my cheeks and nodded my head.

"Well, since that's all that has been cleared up... Do you think I should spare him from his actions?" Bradley asked the most stupid question ever and Emma rolled her eyes again and looked at him pointedly. He raised both hands up before I realised something.

"Wait what? Isn't the decision to spare me is with my sister and not you?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"You always knew that I wasn't the true blood of the throne. Brad here, is the one." Emma jerked her thumb at Bradley. My eyes widened and I bowed a little at him.

"Your majesty, it's such a pleasure to be able to meet you." I forced a huge smile on my face before the three of us laughed out loud. It is sure good to have fun again.

However, that happy reunion was short-lived. The two of them suddenly jerked to the ground with sweat all over their body and they were shivering. It was pretty shocking but I masked it up and helped them onto the couch. As their eyes opened at the same time, they both screamed. I was stunned and lost. Deciding to help them, I shook them and they woke up with big eyes in alarm.

"Mars! Mars is under attack!!!" Emma shouted and got off the couch. Brad was still pale. I gave them two cups of liquid that calm the nerves before grabbing Emma's wrist.

"Here, this necklace might be able to destroy the killer, it's guts instinct, you can trust it or not. Up to you. Also, there's a jet that can get you to Mars in 5 mins. It's at room 105. Don't die." I took off the deadly weight necklace and placed it into her hand. She winced a little at the pain I think before nodding and hugged me one last time.

"Thanks Tyler! Love you!" She whispered before taking Bradley's hand and they rushed off to perhaps the jet room I told her to go to. Please Heaven, Dad, Mum, Bradley's parents, please help them. Do not let them die or allow anything bad things to happen to them, they do not deserve it. Protect them. Please...
