Guilt is too light a word to describe how Ruwena felt when she found out that her best friend comitted suicide. They have always been together since day one, and now, one of them is buried underground while the other is left to live.

Bree and Ru had it all planned out. Graduate from Oakland Preparatory High. Go to the same University. Find the love of their lives. Get married and settle down in some place peaceful where the both of them would be neighbours. Bree's house would be blue and Ru's would be pink and they would have a yellow and white picket fence in between both of their gardens. They would have children and they're children would grow up to be best friends just like them and continue their legacy.

But now, all of that is impossible. All of that sounds stupid and childish and dumb. Because Aubree is gone. And Bree left Ruwena with the weight of their unfulfilled promises.

Ruwena can't be angry with Aubree for not telling her about her depression because she should've known all along. She failed at the one thing she thought she was good at; being a best friend. So when Ruwena found Bree's bucket list, she knew that she had one final duty to fulfil to her best friend.

She had a bucket list to complete.
