NIALL'S POV
I skipped early out of my last class, (don't ask how, just thank Val) just so I could see Louis teach. Yeah, I was curious. And also 'cos I wanted to ogle at him when he had those sexy glasses on.
I walked through the empty hallways to the drama class, which was located all the way near the theater. I creeped near the door and peeked through the glass, biting my lip and spying on Louis.
Wow, he looked so natural there. It certainly didn't look like it was his first time teaching a class. Drama really was his element.
Louis was helping the students act out a scene from Macbeth, and also explaining it to them in depth. But it was the way he was teaching, he had every student's attention on him. It was amazing.
And I noticed how most of the girls were eyeing Louis, and felt a surge of jealously pass through my body. But then I shook it off quickly, laughing at myself. Louis doesn't even like girls.
The bell rung suddenly, startling me, and I scrambled away from the door. After all the students had piled out, I slipped inside, closing the door behind me.
Louis looked up from the script he was reading, and grinned at me. "Hi!"
I laughed at his cuteness. "Hi. So how was your first class?"
Louis grinned again, much like an excited little kid. "Oh my God Ni, it was amazing! These kids are so nice! They listen to everything I say! And really, it's so much fun to teach, even more than I'd expected."
I smiled warmly. Thank the Lord they were co-operating with Louis. Usually, a new teacher is treated very nastily. I guess Louis' charisma won them over too. "That's great, love. I'm happy for you. And I hope they give you this job soon."
"Yeah," Louis responded, then smirked, walking closer to me. I raised an eyebrow, stepping back.
"We're in school Kitty Lou. Remember?" I warned him. Louis pouted, and nodded.
"Now come on. Let's go to our tree house, where no one can see us," I grinned at Louis, and he agreed wordlessly.
We both walked the not too short distance to the docks, Louis gleefully chatting away about what he was going to teach in his next class, and also what he'll teach me next in my tutoring class.

We were sat at the edge of the tree house, legs dangling, the sultry breeze blowing past us. The water below was shimmering in the late afternoon sunlight, and I was tempted to go for a swim.
"Niall?" Louis spoke softly.
"Hmm?"
"Thanks," he smiled, and I understood. I just squeezed his fingers that were entwined with mine, giving him a small smile back. "No problem, I know that this was important to you."
Louis chuckled lightly. "It was. It was a dream of mine actually, to get a proper job, to not depend on my father anymore. You know, he always used to say to me, that I'll never be able to get a decent job, much less the job of a drama teacher, no matter how much I study. Guess I just proved him wrong, huh?" Louis looked up at me, his blue-grey eyes twinkling.
"Yep. You proved him wrong. And I'm proud of you," I told my boyfriend, carding my fingers though his feathery brown hair, and pulling him close for a sweet kiss. We pulled back, and Louis had his eyes still closed, an adorable smile on his face.
"Ya know, it's my birthday tomorrow," I reminded him cheekily.
Louis' eyes shot open in surprise. "Oh, crap! I can't believe I forgot!"
I smirked. "Why? You wanted to plan a surprise for me?"
Louis shook his head, a secretive smile on his face. "Nah. I already have that planned."
