She takes a deep breath. She sits in the car contemplating on if this was a good decision or not.

She steps out of the car. She fixes her dress and closes the door behind her.

She calms herself down not wanting to look like an idiot. She walks through the doors.

She feels the stares but she keeps her head high. She sees her old friends waiting for her.

She takes the insults. She takes the hits.

She fights her tears letting one slip by. She watches her stuff fall from her hands.

She takes the shame. She knew what she was doing.

She eventually gets left alone. She waits.

She picks up her stuff. She runs to the bathroom.

She opens the door to the boys restroom.

She calms down. She reassures herself.

She knows this is who she truly is.

She finishes in the bathroom and walks out.

She walks out confident. She sees girls walking into the bathroom.

She looks down at her feet as they stare in shock.

She hears them call out. She tells them her real name.

She listens to their laughter. She ignores that name.

She walks out of the boys bathroom. She walks past those girls.

She walks with a sense of tranquility.

For the first time she is herself. She's not Josh.

She is Lily.
