Ch.5 Family breakfast

Bellamy thought to himself. Maybe he could adopt them so they could stay together. They could pay rent or something but at least that way they were free."I'll see what I can do about that." Bellamy said looking between the both of them. They looked shocked. "Really?" They said at the same time. Then they did this weird high five that really wasn't a high five. "Wait bell really?!?! We are going to adopt them?!?!" Octavia screamed sand jumped up and down she had a huge grin on her face like you just gave a six year old two puppies. What did he do? Oh gosh he definitely was in it for the long haul. Clarke spoke for the first time. "We should get like a big house so we have more room." "Hold on I'm not even sure if I can adopt them yet lets not decide who gets what room ok?!" Bellamy really did feel like a dad. "Ok this is what we are gonna do. Everybody gets a job and gives half to the house fund. Everybody can live there and it will work well. Between the six of us it couldn't take that long right?" Clarke said. "It's a plan!" Jasper shouted. "I already have a job that pays pretty well so yeah ok I'll do it." Raven said. "I'll get a job." Octavia announced. "Me too and Bell you already have a job so your good. What about you Monty?" Clarke asked. "Yeah we both have jobs at the grocery store. I'm in why not. We have never had a real family before and we owe you guys big time." He said "This has been a pretty productive breakfast but I don't even know if I can adopt the guys." Bellamy said. This is all moving really really fast. Within less than 30 minutes we have gotten two new family members, a new house ,a sold apartment and you two are gonna get new jobs?" He pointed to the girls. "Yup!" Octavia said "All our spare money goes into this house ok?" She looked around the table and saw a series of nods. "Bellamy you get started on the guys adoption." Clarke said. "I'll go back with them today" He rubbed his forehead. He couldn't believe this was happening.

After a shower Bellamy gave all the girls a kiss on the top of the head and said he was working on getting them two brothers.He drove the guys to their foster home and the woman there directed him to the main office that deals with adoptions. "Well they are 17 now and most likely not going to get adopted by anybody better." The lady said looking up at Bellamy with a strange look. "So as long as you have a significant income and a stable home and they want to go I see no reason why not." "Thank you" Bellamy said smiling. "It will take two weeks until your court day so they will have to stay in the home until then." "Alright can they come back with me for the day now?" "Sure but have them back by 7 and no more surprise sleepovers." "Ok thank you goodbye." He turned to the shocked boys "come on let's go!"

"Just like that?" "Yeah I sign the papers in two weeks then you are officially ours." They started to cry and hug Bellamy and even he had a few tears of joy in his eyes.

*TWO WEEKS LATER*

They all walked out of the court house. They had two new members of the family. They took about 100 selfies on various cellphones. And then went home. They had all helped pack the boys things. They would be living with Raven until they were able to put a down payment on a new place. She had a pretty big apartment to herself so it wouldn't be a problem.

The gang was all there hanging out when Octavia came running in. "You guys will NEVER believe what I found! There is an old building for sale downtown near the university. It's perfect! We can all have our own apartments!" She nearly screamed. "That old thing is for sale?" Raven asked. "Yes, and I already talked to the real estate agent we can go look at it this Thursday!" "Octavia you need to tell us about these things." Bellamy complained. "I am telling you. Bell I have a feeling that thing will sell fast! Trust me you guys it had cool old brick and like 6 floors. We can easily make apartments there!" "That would be a lot better than a house." Clarke commented.

"We vote. On three yay or nay." Raven said. "Yay! "They all said except for Bellamy who didn't say anything at all. "I just need to know we have enough money for this." He explained rubbing his face. "Bellamy trust me we need to get this." Octavia insisted. Bellamy sighed. "That's a yes!" Jasper yelled. Everyone cheered. "I didn't say anything." He groaned. "Whenever you do that you always end up saying yes." Jasper told him. "It's true. He learns fast." Octavia commented. "Alright we see it Thursday at what time?" He sighed. "5:30!" Octavia exclaimed. "Fine but we need to make sure it's safe and not too old." He said "As well as make sure the pluming, heating and water all works." Raven pointed out. "I'll look at all the wiring and stuff and I have connections I can take care of the rest." She said smiling. It was set.
