Jasper held his friend and let him cry into the crook of his neck. He swayed them ever so slightly trying in vein to do his best to help Monty. He knew he would just have to ride it out. Honestly as much as Jasper loved Miller he was sort of glad it ended and didn't blame the man like he felt was his job as a best friend of the dumpee; but it was true. To him they were sweet but a little too forced. They didn't fit. Hopefully they can still be super close but just go sepret ways romantically. "You know what makes me feel better when I'm sad?" Jasper asked. "Drugs." Monty mumbled wiping his raw eyes. "Drugs." Jasper grinned as he pulled out a ziplock bag of weed. "They'd be so mad." Monty said. "Mom and dad?" Jasper asked laughing. "Please. The lighter is in the top drawer" he motioned over to the wooden side table beside his bed. "I know." Monty grumbled. In the foster home they used to tape their stuff to the bottom of the drawer on the outside. Nobody ever thought to check there they would raid their drawers but couldn't ever find it. Idiots.
*** AT DELINQUENTS***

Back at the coffee shop Miller was wiping down the counter when Bryan walked in. Perfect. He thought. He really didn't want to face him right no despite just realizing his feelings for the man. He tried to retreat back into the kitchen but was stopped by Lincoln who he'd his shoulders walking him backwards back out to the counter. "Nope." "But-" Miller started to whine. "Please." "No." He turned him around smacking his butt with the dish towel. "Go get 'em tiger." Lincoln smirked crossing his arms over his chest as he watched his friend sulk Babcock to the front counter. "Hey Nate!" Bryan grinned. Miller couldn't help but smile dumbly at him. "Hey."
***KITCHEN***
Bellamy crossed his arms facing Lincoln. "So..." "I presum you know about Bryan?" "Yeah. When did he start coming around here." Lincoln shrugged. "Few months ago. Good kid. Reyes ran and background check. Living alone with his father. Mother died in child birth. Goes to the university here. Majoring in environmental sciences." "Huh... So you know him better than me what do you think?" "Honestly he seemed trapped its Monty. I love the kid I do but they don't fit. He needed to move on and I think this might work out. He's a good guy." "Work out?" "Like actually work out. I can see them together when I couldn't really with Monty." Bellamy moved to sit on the counter top beside Lincoln who push d him off wiping down the counter. Get off my counter! He pointed to a wooden stool sitting in the corner. "Go. I'm cooking. B llama huffed rolling his eyes and dragged the stool over and sat quietly while Lincoln made some sort of seedy scone that didn't particularly intreat Bellamy. They sat in silence for a while when they heard the door slam.
***BACK IN TIME TO MILLER***
"You feeling okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine." Miller nodded. "Usual?" "Maybe later. You busy right now I actually came to talk to you." Miller looked around the coffee shop. Shit. It was empty. "Yeah guess so. What's up?" Miller walked around the counter and sat on the couch Bryan sat across from him on the coffee table. "Listen. I don't know what's up with you. Some times you seem really into me and other days you look like you dread ever seeing me again and I'm done. I want to know what's going on right now. I've spent too much time and money to wait any longer Nate. I really like you and either you like me like that too and want the same thing as me or you don't but you need to decide. Now." Miller leaned down between his knees running his hands over his face to the back of his neck. He sighed. Lifting his head again. Fuck. "Yeah. I want what you want. I want a relationship with you k really care about you and-fuck! I just got out of a relationship to be with you possibly breaking the heart of one of my best friends and I'm scared but fuck! Every time I see you I fall more and more in love with you and I never stop thinking of you. I want a life with you and to call you mine and be yours but this is all moving so fast and I can't breathe. I need a minute. I need air. I'll cal, you okay? I'm sorry I-" his voice cracked as he withheld a sob. "I gotta go." He stood up quickly almost knocking the other man over and walked out. Bryan's head was swirling. "That was nothing like I expected this to go..." He muttered to himself. Lincoln and Bellamy walked out from the back when they heard the door slam shut. The cafe was empty except for Bryan sitting in the coffee tale fracking the window leaning g back on his arms. "Hey you okay?" Bellamy called. "Yeah." Bryan muttered. "Come on. Coffee in the house." Lincoln offered. "Bryan stood up clearly in deep thought. "No thanks. I don't like coffee."
