Genie's wish

Back at the hospital Regina was still waiting to be discharged. Emma had left after an hour or so as she had some business to attend to however  it gave Regina time to think about her future with her child. Regina knew Emma was right about this baby being an miracle and that she just needed to have faith although Regina couldn't figure out how tell Sidney. She had known Sidney since she was in her mid twenties back in the Enchanted forest and he had even witness the harsh treatment of her late husband Leopold. Regina could still remember when Leopold introduced him to her and snow in the courtyard. From the moment she saw him she knew he was different, not by how he dressed but the way he looked at her. He was the only man that saw her for what she really was. Not a queen but a woman that need love and support. However Regina was young and instead of returning his care and trust she manipulated him in one of the most cruel ways imaginable. She made him fall for her. At the time Regina didn't love Sidney but she saw him as a friend but revenge blinded her and all she wanted was the king dead.

Regina slowly lad back into hospital bed as tiredness began to take over her. looking up at ceiling and placing her hand on her stomach. Inhaling the antiseptic smell from the hospital bed she closed her eyes and sighed. She could still remember the pain and sorrow that filled his dark brown eyes as he made his last wish. Guilt began raise in her as she knew what it was like to have love rip from her as she had done to Sidney and that there was no apology that could justify what she did especially since he was trapped with her throughout her Evil Queen reign. 

"Maybe me and your daddy can be friends?" Regina said softly to her growing baby. "I think it's time for me to redeem myself." An with that Regina drifted off into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile in the grave yard Henry finally arrived at his mum's vault. luckily for Henry it was easy to get in as his mum used his birthday date for locks on the doors. Entering into the secret department Henry couldn't believe how many magical potions and items his mum had kept. The vault was dark and dusty and filled old books and hanging on the wall was the magic mirror that his mum once used in the Enchanted forest. However Henry took off his backpack to look for the torch light Graham had given him when they went on stroll in the woods. Turning it on he made his way deep through the vault until he came across a bright glow of red lights in on of the rooms. The walls were covered with crimson drapes that looked like blood as the lights shined behind them. Hesitantly walking in Henry took a deep breath and pulled back the drapes which revealed the multiple hearts of his mum's victims. 

Graham's heart must me here? Henry said as he looked at boxes on the wall. Shining the torch light at boxes of hearts a sudden click noise came from one of the boxes which had automatically open as Henry moved the torch over it. Taking the box from the wall Henry opened it and was greeted by bright red beating heart. Remembering what the story brook had said about the hearts in order to get the right heart you need an object that once belong to them and for Graham it was his torch.

Closing the box and placing it in his backpack once he got back to the main entrance, Henry made is way out of the vault. Henry had plan and if Emma or his mum would tell him the truth then maybe Graham could help if he gave his heart back.

In the Hospital Regina was fast asleep as Sidney made his way into the room. He was holding a bunch of yellow Pansies and Beautiful peach blossoms as he came and sat in the visitor seat near her bed. placing the flowers on the little table beside her bed Sidney looked over Regina with pain in his eyes. Her hair was tousled and she was curled up under the covers and too Sidney he had never seen any think so beautiful. He loved Regina's natural beauty as it truly show her real self. Not wanting to disturb her he careful moved a lock of hair from her face. 

Sidney came to the hospital to confess his love for her but he didn't think she would be asleep and now that he was here he felt so foolish. How could a woman so beautiful be in love with man like him Sidney thought to himself. she even said so herself back in the Enchanted forest. However after everything Regina had done to him he still loved her and even in last 28 years Sidney would do anything for her but since the curse broke he could help the memories of his past come flashing to him. The memories of  over hearing the restless nights of the evil queen as she cried herself to sleep as she struggled to find her happiness and the harsh treatments of the king as locked her in her room or leaving her with bruises on her arms. 

Taking out a letter out of his pocket Sidney placed it on the bouquet of flowers. " I wish you could feel the way I feel for you my queen." Sidney whispered to himself. Suddenly Regina began to stir on the bed. Sidney quickly moved away from the bed, leaving the room with shame as he couldn't fine the courage to tell her to face to face but hopefully his letter would.
