Regina awoke to the yummy smell of breakfast. Sitting up on her king sized bed she rub her large stomach to calm the movements of her growing child. Regina was glad Sidney decided to stay with her through the remaining months of her pregnancy. She had offered the guest room for him so he would be comfortable but she knew he was still hurt by the surprise pregnancy from her however she she was just glad they both were moving on. Getting up from her large comfortable bed she went to grab her house robe to join Sidney in the kitchen. Moment after Regina put her robe on a knock on her bedroom door surprised her. Knowing it was Sidney she allowed him in.
"Coming in. " Regina said in a raspy voice.
Sidney walked into bedroom carrying a tray of breakfast; egg, bacon, toast and cup of green tea.
Sidney walked over to bed to put the tray down. Looking back at Regina he couldn't help but smile at her morning state. Her hair was tousled and she had a make-up free face which in his opinion was when she looked the most beautiful. "Good morning Regina I thought I should bring your breakfast to you." Sidney laugh softly to himself at Regina shocked face. "You seem surprised." Taking a seat on the bed Regina looked at breakfast with hungry eyes however taking back by what Sidney said she replied. "No, Sidney this is nice of you thank you." Regina smiled back at him warmly as she picked up the plate.
"Your welcome." Sidney began to make his way to door to leave her in peace when he was stopped by Regina.
"Sidney you can stay you know, please take a seat I wanted to talk to you about the nursery." Regina as she began to tuck into her foods. " I thought we should start the nursery today by painting walls."
Sidney looked more excited now he couldn't wait to paint his unborn child room. They hadn't found out the gender of baby yet but to be honest he wanted to be a surprised. "Yeah sure do you have any ideas since you don't know the gender?" Sidney question.
Finishing her breakfast Regina began to drink her tea. "Well I was thinking neutral colours you know like cream colours or ivory."
Sidney nodded at that in agreement._____________________________________________
After breakfast was finished Regina and Sidney began to prepare the spare room for painting. They had started with little samples on the wall to decide which colour they wanted which turned out to be a bit of a disaster. "I like the Mocha colour better then the ivory its more comforting and cosy." Regina said with frustration.
"Ivory looks more lively and Mocha is too dark for a baby's room. It would be like entering a bat's cave if you paint it that colour."Sidney shook his head as he compare the colours together. Regina started to waddled around the room to calm herself, they had only started 10mins ago and they were already arguing over the colour.
"Sidney I want the bedroom to look cosy plus ivory can easily get dirty."
"Yeah but Mocha doesn't go with your tan carpet now does it."
Regina sigh to herself, maybe he was right.Down stairs of the mansion Henry had arrived early from the Charmings. Placing his bags in the foyer he could hear the bickering coming from up stairs. Wondering who his mother was talking to he quickly made his way to where the noise was coming from. To his surprise Henry was greeted with the sight of his mother dressed in a grey tracksuit bottom and oversized plan white top which don't do much to hide her growing belly. Henry hardly ever saw his mum dressed in causal clothes but what really shocked him was the sight of Sidney. He also was dressed casually but he was with his mum deciding the baby colours. Henry laugh to himself as he watched with joy as they bickered on and on, to Henry this was too funny to interpret. However when Regina waddled towards the paint brushes on a small table behind her she noticed her son laughing away at their childish behaviour.
"Henry Daniel Mills!" in a stern voice Regina crossed her arms with her famous Evil Queen stare. Henry immediately stopped laughing as anxiety took over his joyful expression."sorry mum."
"Henry I didn't hear you come in and your meant to be here after 1."
Smiling again Henry replied "it is 1 mum." Henry looked around the room with curiosity. "So what are you guys bickering about."
Sidney looked towards Regina with mischievous smile then back to Henry. "Henry maybe you could help with deciding the colour for the baby. Which colour do you think is better Mocha or Ivory?"__________________________________________
Two hours had passed since they had painted the nursery. They all decided it was best that they paint one side of the nursery of the ivory and the side Mocha. Henry had left to get a glass of water when Regina and Sidney were left to clean what was left in the room.
"It's looking good, the colours look nice." Sidney said as started putting the brushes away.
Yeah it is I guess arguing about it was a waste of time." Regina was truly happy with the room she couldn't wait to start decorating it even if she was slightly upset that her son didn't agree with the colour however as she went to pick up the ivory paint box she noticed was still open. Looking at Sidney she could help but get a mischievous idea, watching Sidney busy putting away the brushes Regina quickly picked up a spare Bush and dipped into the paint.
Unaware of what was going on behind him Regina splat the paint onto Sidney face and back.
"REGINA!" Sidney shouted he watched as Regina lost control of her laughter and the joy that it brought to her. "That's what happens when the queen doesn't get what she wants." Regina said through her laughter. She could tell that he was going to get his own back on her but she had to take a moment to settle down for a while. The laughter had cause the baby to kick much harder due to her hysterical laughter.
"Is that so Regina well you have something on your face." Grinning he dipped his hands in the paint, placing it onto her soft cheeks. Shocked at how silly they had become they hadn't noticed how close they were together. As the laughter died down Regina looked deep into Sidney's dark brown eyes. For the first time she couldn't help but feel happy and loved in this moment with him.
Lost in her thoughts she hadn't noticed Sidney had lean forward towards her. Closing the gap between them Sidney kiss her.
Regina froze as realised what just happen but after a moment she responded with the same amount of passion he did. Lost in their hot kisses they finally broke apart however still they remained in each other's arms.
"That was nice. " Sidney said as he rested his forehead against hers. Regina Giggled soft at his comments "yeah it was."Please comment on what you thought on this chapter:-) Sorry it took so long for me to post this chapter I had so many interviews to attend for my uni and plus for this chapter I thought it would be prefect to post it on valentine's day XXX
