Chapter 12

Spencer's P.O.V
We landed in Dakota and the rest have gone to bed, especially Ash. Good, now I can finally teach that boy a lesson. He was just playing Ash.
"Hey, can you meet me in the hall?" I tested.
"Sure, what's up dude?"
The nerve of that boy.
"You'll find out soon"
"Ok. 😊"
Pretty sure, Jack and I were the only ones awake. I waited in the hall and he came out in shorts and a tank.
"So.. what's up?"
I pushed him against the wall.
" Don't act so casual, Johnson how dare you play Ash like that."
And then my fisted acted and punched him right in the jaw. But I couldn't stop. I kept punching him, again and again and again.
"W-what are you talking about?" He whispered, wiping blood from his mouth.
" WHEN YOU HAD THAT 'CALL' FROM OH, WHO WAS IT AGAIN?!? OH YEAH, SOMEONE SAVED ON YOUR CONTACTS CALLED 'MY BABY'?!?!!??" I yelled coldly at him taking one, final punch at him.
For some reason he didn't fight back.

Johnson's P.O.V
I didn't fight back because I had to do this for Gilinsky, our career.
For their band, it would get bad if paparazzi found out.
And most importantly, for Ash. I loved her do fighting back would look bad. Spencer was protective of her, and I respected that, especially since her past was so brutal.
Spencer yelled and I slid down the wall blood in my mouth, my eye bruised.
"Oh my God, JACK!!" I heard a familiar voice. Ash.
"What the Hell Spencer?!? "She yelled running up to my side and kissind my cheek that was bloody. I smiled at her weakly and she pulled me into her chest and tried to help me up.
"I-I I'm so sorry, but Ash he is playing ou with this girl who is saved on his-"
"No, he explained everything and that girl thinks she is his girlfriend but isn't. Jack wouldn't ever dare to do such a thing."
"I am so sorry Johnson!! I was just overly-protective of her cause, you know.. I'll go get the first aid kit"
"Wait... What do you know about me?" She whispered.
"Uh, Hannah told us your past relationships" I said weakly.
A year dropped down her cheek and we held each other with the pale light of the moon shining in through the window as we sat in silence.
"J-Jack? I feel scared.. what happens if James or Jacob retur-"
And I interrupted her and crashed my lips into hers. Our very first proper kiss. I held her and she was taken by surprise but kissed me back.
"Ash, you don't need to worry. You have me and I'll protect you no matter what." I smiled.
She put her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arms around her.
"K, guys I got the first aid-. Oh do you guys need a minute?" Spencer said, obviously still feeling guilty.
"No we're fine." I smiled. "Also, Spencer how about we go back to being friends?"
"Sure, I'd like that. Ash can you do your medical care on Johnson?" Spencer said, walking back to his room.
"Sure thing. Sit down on the bay window Jack."
And we spent the next 15 minutes of me wincing and wimpering in pain and Ash repeatedly saying "sorry" or " it wouldn't hurt I'd you stay still!".
I looked at Ash and saw her tear stained cheeks from crying over he exes. I want to show her I can treat her right. That I truly do love her and always will.
"Ash?" I asked as she put the things away.
"Yeah, Jack?" She said as her hair fell onto her face.
"Who would you date if you could date anyone?" I asked, trying to be subtle.
"Hehe... Um Joe Sugg, Finn Harries basically several youtubers and Edward Cullen and one other guy..." She said as her face went red.
"Uh, I can't tell you! I'll get embarrassed... And besides, you'll judge me forever."
"I have an idea. Let's say one crush we wouldn't want to say to a living soul, at the same time, ok?" I asked.
She nodded.
" One.."
"Two.."
Three.."
" ASHLEY PARKER!"
" JACK EDWARD JOHNSON"
We both went red and stared out the window and fell asleep with her on my chest and I was holding her protectively.
