Chapter 16: More People Arrive

 Authors Note: these next couple of chapters are going to a lot shorter because I will be introducing the rest of the important characters. To make up for that chapter 19: Finding Everybody will be much longer then the normal chapter as it goes into many perspectives of he characters. Thank you for supporting me for this long.

Back in the real world John's friends Richard, Antonio, Evan and Phillip we playing a simple game of two hand touch football. The game was tied at 35 and traditionally there games go to 42. Richard and Antonio were on one team and there was a chance that Richard and Antonio were going to win.

"Don't you wish John was here so he could play and ref at the same time?" Phillip asked the group.

"Yea... he's been gone for a long time now and it's quite confusing as to what happened to him." Richard replied.

"Well we just have to continue. Hopefully he'll come back." Even said.

They continued to play football and Richard was down field in the end zone. He continued on forth to the as he saw the ball thrown by Antonio sail through the air. Richard caught it, the two of them became excited. Antonio blazed through the field yelling and screaming as they had finally beat Evan and Phillip. Evan and Phillip were just sitting there in awe as Antonio through an amazing pass.

"Well... that was a good game." Phillip admitted.

"Nice Antonio!" Richard cheered smacking his hand. The scenery then became weird and it worried the two of them. There was a radio station playing eerie music. Richard then turned to Antonio and looked around.

"Antonio... Do you know what this is?" Richard asked wearily.

"Sorry Richard I don't." Antonio replied.

"We need to look around this just doesn't seem right to me." Richard said.

They looked around but never separated because they didn't want to get lost. They couldn't find anything until they came across a post. It looked like a post that was supposed to establish a route but yet it didn't. They continued looking and saw a place with a blue roof.

"I think we should go in there." Richard stated talking to Antonio again "Do you agree?"

"I think that would be smart. We will just have to gain our bearings." Antonio then recommended.

"Okay," Richard said entering the tall building.

"Hello how may I help you?" the store clerk said.

"What is this place?" Richard then asked.

"This is the lovely lavender town." The store clerk said sarcastically.

"What's so wrong with this town?" Richard asked.

"This is the death of Pokémon where the grave yards are." The store clerk continued.

"Oh... that's why it's bad." Antonio said.

"Yea, so... just for the two of you... I'll give you 5 free pokeballs if you catch only ghost type Pokémon."

"I will that's a deal!" Richard exclaimed.

"No... I won't subject myself to a deal like that I would rather work to obtain my Pokémon. Sorry." Antonio replied he thought that that could be a huge mistake but he was okay with it because he already knew what he had in mind and he was going to stick with it and nothing else.

They quickly left the store and went into the lavender tower. There was a presence and the room felt heavy. It wasn't like any of the Pokémon in the area was more than 15 pounds. Because you cannot find a Gengar in the selected area. So the only thing that's greater then a pound is that trusty old Marrowak that Richard can't catch due to the agreement that had been made prior.

He continued forth noticing that some of the people were acting weird; as if they were to have been possessed. This worried Richard who had yet to catch a single Pokémon but got five free pokeballs. He continued feeling the air get heavier until he saw something. This made him a bit paranoid as he thought he was seeing things.

"Antonio... Do you see that?" Richard asked scared that his sanity had long last been forgotten.

"Yea... Richard... That's the Pokémon that you need to catch. It's a ghost type and you can certainly catch it." Antonio remarked smoothly.

Richard then felt better knowing that his brain wasn't playing tricks on him. Then a Channeler appeared looking quite excited like she wanted to catch the Pokémon that was also standing right next to Richard.

"That Gastly. Looks pretty if you ask me." She spouted acting creepy so Richard could go away. But unluckily or her it didn't work in the slightest. Richard Just sat there confused thinking that the Channeler was weird. He then continued to get weirded out by the Gastly that continued to rub against him.

"Gastly, if you really love me that much how about going into this Pokeball." Richard said convincingly.

He felt like the Pokémon wouldn't even fall for something as little as that but then the Gastly just vanished.it looked like it had been sucked into the Pokeball like there had been a slight vortex but there hadn't been. He then through the Pokeball and the Gastly appeared and it licked him like a dog would his owner and at that moment they knew they were going to be very good companions.

Antonio and Richard walked out of the lavender towns graveyard with great intentions as they already somehow had 4 gym badges they started heading to Fuchsia city as Antonio entered the cave and caught a Graveler and Areodactl in the cave behind them and they were ready to have their adventures continue.
