Hey everyone! QuartzMiner here, and I'm super sorry I haven't posted much this week, or the last. I was super busy seeing all these movies, (Ahem Civil War, comment below if you've seen it) and our end of year finals have been coming, but I'm done with those after Thursday. Wish me luck! But I'm hopefully going to get several chapters out today since I don't have homework. Again, sorry, so I hope you enjoy this chapter!!! Let's get started....

"TRAVIS!" I yelled, rushing towards him. Laurence tried to hold me back, but I was too fast. I rushed to his side, but then realized that the Demon Warlock had teleported away. I tried shaking Travis to wake him up, but he didn't. "He's not waking up... What did he do to him?!" I said frantically. "I'm not sensing any magiks impact on him, no different aura than usual. He's fine, just knocked out." Lucinda ensured me. It made me feel better, but I was still worried. "We should get him back to the boat..." I say. They nod. "I got him," Laurence offered. "Okay," I said quietly. We walked in silence back to the boat, and then we came up to the bridge. You had to do some jumping to get to the boat, so that was going to be an obstacle. "I got this. Laurence, put him over your shoulders and jump." Lucinda said, pulling out her staff. Laurence and I look at her, unsure. She rolls her eyes and said: "Just do it." Laurence sighed and put Travis over his shoulders. He takes a running start and jumps towards the platform. Gravity pulls him down to the ocean because of the extra weight on his shoulders, but then Lucinda makes her move. Her staff glows, but not bright enough so that we can't see. A transparent white platform, almost glass looking, appears below Laurence's feet and lifts him back up to the bridge. He turns around and nods to Lucinda as a thanks. He then turns back around and heads into the boat. (If you paid attention to my message earlier, I said I saw Civil War last weekend. If you saw it already, you might realize that this moment was an easter egg for it. When? In the beginning of the movie, Wanda uses her powers to lift Steve (Captain America) into the window of a tall building. This is similar to that because Lucinda is doing the same thing for Laurence. Muahaha! Okay, back to the story hehe) I jumped onto the bride behind him, and Lucinda followed. We entered the dark wooden boat, and went downstairs to set Travis into a bed. We sat on the beds next to his, and just stared at him. It was kind of awkward, until he woke up. "I didn't realize I was invited to a party," I heard Travis mumble, still a bit groggy. "I take it you all met my dad... ow..." he said, trying to sit up. Lucinda pushed him back down, making him lay down. "I'm fine, guys, I don't need to stay in bed..." he ensured us. "If your still hurting, your staying here." I told him. "No, I'm not! It's just my head..." he paused. "Fine, and my back. He hit me on my back from behind, then knocked me out. Don't know how, or why I remember, but I guess that's for the best, isn't it?" he finished. "I see you've met my father, then..." he said, looking down. "Travis, you don't need to be ashamed of yourself because of who your family is. They don't define you. Just because you care about that shows that your not a bad person," Laurence said, not making eye contact with him. I bet he's still a bit nervous around Travis since what happened earlier today. "... Thanks," Travis thanked him. "Guys, I know it's weird because he's my dad, but... We need to... get rid of him... to get off the island... I'm honestly kind of sick of this place. You wouldn't mind if I, uh... escaped with you all?" he asked us. "No, not at all," I said. "How are we going to do this, though?" Laurence wondered, looking for feedback. "Do what?" Lucinda asked. We looked at her, raising our eyebrows. "Oh. Yeah. We have to... get rid of the Demon Warlock..." she answered her own question. "We first need to find out more about him," I said. After I mentioned that, we all looked over to Travis. "No pressure," I said, laughing a little. "Well... Let's start by location, hm? He has a pocket dimension that he basically lives in that can only be accessed from this island. We can potentially get there, but there's a required... item, you may call it." he began. "An orb." Lucinda said. Travis nodded. "Wait, I have a feeling I should know this, but what's a pocket dimension?" Laurence asked. "It's a mini dimension. Actually, quite a few of them exist, and they are all accessed differently. Even though a good amount of them are gotten into using orbs, like this one. Specific orbs. One time use, one way to, and one way from. Others might be accessed whenever you sleep, you may pass out and go to one, others may even have a portal. But that's rare, since portals are really only used in actual dimensions." he explained. "So, the orb is on the island then?" I asked as a follow up. (If you didn't realize the other easter egg I just put, it's of when Travis said you can access pocket dimensions by sleep. In season two, Aphmau contacts Garroth in a pocket dimension when he is in the Irene dimension. Also, time works differently in all dimensions, as you might have guessed, even if the difference is not big, for example, the Irene dimension. One minute there equals one year in the Overworld. Okay, back to the story.) "Yes, the orb is on the island. It's believed to be in a hidden room on the island. No one has found it in history. The room has something to do with the Divine Warriors, but it's not one of their relics. That's another thing, probably found in their own dimensions only. This is just a speck of their power, a small fraction of it put into an orb. Enough to get into the pocket dimension. Also, oddly enough, the pocket dimension exists on this island. But it is very complicated. It's here, but it is not here. Somewhere, very, very, very high up in the sky above the island is a small ripple, a rip in the Overworld dimension, you may call it a rift. It is like an impenetrable locked door that can only be gotten through with a key. And its key is the orb, a magical key. Enchanted. It is permanently wiped from existence after a two trip use. In and out, and it's gone forever. But you don't need to go to the door to get in. All you need to do is hold it, and concentrate on opening it. It's easy. But finding it is the hard part. Most people go by the theory that it is hidden well inside a mountain in the Snowy Peaks. That's an area in the mountain that has extremely rough terrain, flat, but tall and thick spikes of ice jetting out every five to ten yards. Not easy to find anything there. Sound doesn't travel well. Also, it's like a forest with five yard thick trees. You can't see anything that far in front of you. If we're going there, we have to stick together, well." Travis laid out the plan. "Whew, that was a mouthful. I'm really out of breath after that!" he said, sighing. "So, we're going there, then." Lucinda said. "I guess so..." I say. "It's also colder there, so you guys are going to need some heavy coats or furs to go over those clothes." Travis pointed out. "Luckily, I think we have some in the boat." Lucinda said. "We do?" I asked. I was confused, because I had looked through every chest here, and no clothing. "Yeah, there's suitcases and bags under some of the beds," she said. "Oh! Well, that helps..." I say. She got up and went down the long room. She bent down and pulled a few bags out. She opened them, and pulled out three coats. "Looks like these shadow knights stole this boat from someone," Lucinda said. "Wait, how many people stole this boat before? Geeze!" Travis exclaimed. "As far as we know, these coat's owners, then the shadow knights, then us." I said. "Huh..." he trailed off. Lucinda tossed the boats over to us and we put them on. We exited the boat and headed out. "Wait... If you have to jump to get onto the bridge, then how'd you get me up here if I was unconscious...?" Travis asked. "Witches have their ways of solving problems." Lucinda said, using the same spell to gently set herself down on the beach's sand. "Oh...! That's cool," Travis commented. Lucinda laughed at what he said. "Well, that's witchcraft for you, isn't it?" she asked, laughing. "It's cool!" she mimicked. "H-Hey!" he said, now he was laughing. I jumped off the bridge and landed on my hands and legs before getting back up. We made our way through the forest, it getting denser as we continued on. Soon, it got cold enough that we saw that small lakes were frozen over. About a half an hour of traveling after that, even parts of the ground were frozen. We had to be careful so we didn't slip or fall. An hour after that, we reached the heart of the large island. We looked up and saw several ice pillars sticking up from the canopy. It wasn't far from where we were, so we had to be close. We walked a few dozen more yards, and the trees abruptly stopped. Now, we were not in a forest of trees, but a forest of ice. As soon as we stepped foot into it, I had a very ominous feeling about something that was here. "... Do you guys feel that?" I asked. I looked to my left and saw something strange. Travis's eyes were flickering between their normal green and an abnormal purple. "Travis? Are you okay?" I asked him. "I'm fine..." he growled. "What's wrong?" I asked again. "I feel it too, and it's nothing good..." he said finally. As it turned out, everyone here could feel it. "Aphmau, how do you feel it? You need to have some sort of magiks or alternate form to feel this sort of aura." Lucinda says. I was stunned. I didn't have any magiks! "I-I don't have magiks, though...!" I told her. "Or she hasn't discovered them yet." Travis guessed, studying me. "Well, all we can do is wait. We should get going." Lucinda said hurriedly. So we walked on, and I couldn't help but realize that as we went on, the feeling got worse and worse. It seemed to be making me and everyone else here uneasy. Something told me that we were going to find out what this feeling was coming from.
