Laurence and I met a while ago, so we're really close. We're living in a town called Phoenix Drop. Actually, I'm the lord, and Laurence is my guard. But not long ago, something terrible happened: we discovered a nether portal in our mine, and shortly after, everyone in our town was... murdered. Me and Laurence were the only ones to make it out... Now we have to survive in this world. We are currently on our way over to New Meteli, a village we are allied with. (In this book, Laurence is not a shadow knight, and Aphmau doesn't know of her powers. This is late season one, but before the war was announced. Aphmau hadn't met Aaorn yet, and I will be bringing some season two events into this book. This book is also mainly inspired by the nightcore song, Siren. There will be some references, so check it out! It made it onto my nightcore playlist!)
