12:00 PM

Diego was in school, he was currently sitting through his creative arts class. He thought he could get through this day without trouble, until Thomas stood up to read his short story. It was about a man who lost his wife.

"She died in a car accident," he started reading, "she was young and soft like a rose mid-spring..."

Thomas kept going on about the man and his wife who died and Diego couldn't take it anymore.

"He thought that life without her was meaningless, a dark pit, a broken dream. He indulged in his pain so feverishly that he-"
Thomas was cut off by Diego flipping over his desk in the middle of class and storming out despite the teacher's yelling.

Diego had to then report to the principle's office, and was sent home for the day.

1:00 PM

When Diego got home, he felt that something was off. Walking into the living room, he saw two empty glasses of wine next to an empty Bottle. That's strange, his mother usually doesn't drink this early in the day.

He heard noises. He followed these noises. They came from his mother's bedroom. His heart thumped widely in his chest. He opens the door. He couldn't believe it.
