"Ah- choo!" Iceland nearly toppled head first down the stairs, the surprise of the sneeze that escaped him catching him off guard. "My!" He sniffed, rubbing his nose. "What has gotten into me?" And it didn't stop there. Through the day, Emil continued the large sneezes and coughing gags to the point where he was often dry heaving.

"Da ze! I'm done! You are going to bed!" Li Xiao has had it up to the ceiling with all of this behavior from his husband, tossing him like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder.

"I-I'm fine!" Em sneezed into his arm again, rubbing at his blurry eyes with a fisted hand. He didn't protest too much, he was more drained than usual after working about the house. He hadn't gotten too much done, his 'allergies' going haywire and hating him.

"No you're not. Now sleep!" Hong Kong ordered, pulling back the sheets to settle Icy down gently. How ironic since he just carried the much smaller like bulk vegetable. Emil crossed his arms, slightly reddened eyes squinted up at him. "Don't argue with me either!" Li crossed his arms as well, standing his ground.

"I'm. Fine." His voice was wavering as he struggled not to cough. That struggle didn't last long as he broke down, his whole frame and inner workings shaking with the hacking. Hong Kong patted his back, waiting until he was done heaving to sit beside him. Iceland almost immediately collapsed on his shoulder, face pressed to the fabric of the Asian nation's shirt.

"You don't look fine." Xiao sighed,wrapping an arm around Emil's waist and hugging him close. He noticed that the small Nordic country was shaking, and his skin was like ice. (No pun intended). "Lay back, I'll get you some medicine." He swiftly kissed his cheek, standing and heading towards the bathroom to scavenge the medicine cabinet.

"Delphine's pills, Shiro's, the bird's...?" Li shook his head, not questioning the mystery puffin's drugs. He was a bit crazy anyway. Maybe he needed meds to seem sane. Li tossed the bottle back onto the top shelf and finally found a bottle of Tylenol Extra Strength® way in the back. He dusted it off, pressing hard on the cap to remove it. "Damn these caps." He finally got it off, spilling four into his palm. That was Emil's instructions on the bottle. Two for regular humans, four for countries.

"Now a glass of water." He sighed, going back into the bedroom to place the pills on the bedside table before scampering down the stairs to the kitchen. Li found a small juice glass, turning and seeing the crazy bird behind him. Mr. Puffin sat on the counter, eating small pieces of fruit.

"Whatcha looking at?" He seems to have just woken from a nap, so Li avoids him and just gets what he came for. He takes the stairs two at a time, hearing a coughing sound from the bathroom. All the dry heaving must have brought something up. Li found Emil on the floor of the bathroom, wiping away a line of saliva from his mouth. His cheeks were flushed, his nose was runny and he was close to tears. He felt really bad now.

"Come here, let's get you back to bed." Li set the glass on the nightstand, wrapping one arm around Emil's back and shifting the other underneath his knees to lift him up off the floor. Once settled back under the covers where he belonged, Emil grabbed a tissue from the box near the pillows under him and wiped his nose furiously. He felt a kiss on his splotchy red cheek, turning to see his caretaker holding out the Tylenol.

"Thanks." His voice was like grave, and he coughed some more before popping the pills and following them down with some water. "So far you're doing a better job than Matthias has before." Li laughs, amused by the comment. Denmark always meant well, but was bad at following through.

"At least I know what I'm doing, hm?" He smiles, hearing another sneeze from down the hall and now some rustling in the cabinet. What accompanied that was some mumbled words in Japanese and English along the lines of allergies.

The two parents looked at each other. "Shiro." They nodded in agreement. "At least his are allergies." Emil points out with the nod of his head towards the hallway cabinet.

"Touché, my friend." Li kissed him softly, pulling away to aid the fairly short city who couldn't quite see the top shelf.

"Oh, arigato, Li-sama." Shiro smiled, accepting the bottle and turning away to sneeze into his arm. "It seems the porren has gotten in."

Xiao nods. "We had the windows open last night when I started working on the air conditioner. So, a bunch must have gotten inside."

"Oh, it's fine. And thank you again." He skittered away, back to Delphine's room. Li joined Emil once again.

"Pollen?"

Li shrugged. "I just went with it."
