chapter 9

Lucas POV ~

I can't believe I found her finally! Me ,Jason and Hunter have all found them are mates are life and soul purpose to live . The mere thought of me and the girl currently fast asleep in my bed (which by the way I somehow find as a turn on, odd I know but she is my mate) spending the rest of are lives together makes me feel like a five year old in a candy store. The reason she is being called ' girl' at the moment is because I obviously don't know her name duh! But then again she doesn't know mine so I don't feel that bad.

Of course this wouldn't have happened if she came with me willingly eventually I figured out that she was a human and not a wolf but it still hurt that she ran from me several times ,although it was funny seeing her face as she came out the elevator back at the hotel, but since she doesn't know about my  kind I let her off thinking an elevator could out run me and that I couldn't sniff her out, kind of stalkerish but she is my mate . A mate I've waited too long for, as you're suppose to find your mate on the week of your sixteenth birthday the day you shift for the very first time . I was very confused and upset when I shifted as I couldn't sense nor smell my mate any where and thought the great Luna had cursed me to live without a mate for the rest of my life . The same happened to my best friends Jason and Hunter they are like brothers to me and because of that when I took over as Alpha my first act was to make Jason my Beta and Hunter my Delta and it was one of the most hardest decisions I ever made as to who got what title of Beta my second but in the end it had to be Jason as he is more calm and reliable don't get me wrong Hunter is all of those things he's just abit more excitable and most of the time me and Jason think he's a three year old trapped in a twenty one year olds body . Which probably means the opposite for their mates as the Great Luna made sure that all her children  got  an opposite for a mate guess she is a firm believer in opposites attract  huh . My train of thought is suddenly interrupted by the pack mind link being opened .

"Alpha, Beta , Delta the previous Alpha has called a pack meeting and demands you be there within the next five minutes." one of my pack members informs me. Me , Jason and Hunter all  groan into the mind link and swiftly make are way to the meeting but I didn't leave with out leaving a note telling my mate where I am going, not that she could visit as she is currently chained to the bed which I feel guilty for I also hate the idea that  I had to drug her to get her to the pack house but at least she's here now.

Lauryns POV ~ 

I woke up to find the sexy jerk gone and a note left in his place , luckily I could reach it no thanks to the damn handcuffs joining my ankles and the bed post together, anyway back to the note as I start to read it I get a horrible feeling in my stomach and my eyes start to fill with unshed tears. Don't ask me why I'm actin like my mum died or something just because my jerk of a kidnapper decides to go to a meeting which I didn't think kidnappers do maybe they have some kind of association or something that would be kind of cool, but any way back to why I feel like half my heart has been ripped out god it hurt .

" Great , what do I do now no ones here to make me want to A jump them or B throttle them ." I murmur to my self. just then I heard a squeak of a door open I stiffen. " God I didn't think you'd take me seriously I mean where was that kind of approach when I wanted a puppy for my tenth birthday hmmm ?" I mumble to the invisible force that I now officially believe in. Just then the door squeaks again and the door crashes into the wall with a loud thump " Shit ,do you think they heard that ?" I familiar voice asked me I turn round my head to see Morgan wincing at the loud bang the door had just made and I have never been so happy to see her " Didn't your kidnapper chain you to the bed, god that's so unprofessional isn't it ? " I ask Morgan sarcasm laced in my words ,for her only to go in a mini laughing fit

"Sorry I'm just thinking maybe that guy was right and you are on your period " she manage to say to me in-between laughs . I blush thinking back to the incident at the hotel.  " Humph you're laughing now " was all I said back.

After five minutes more of Morgan laughing her ass off in the sexy jerks room  she recovered and says to me " Yes , my kidnapper did chain me to the bed with hand cuffs , no he didn't un-chain me and yes It was very stupid to leave me on my own ."

"Oh my god how an earth did you get out ! " I practically screamed at her wanting desperately to get out of these stupid cuffs .

" Well all I'm going to say is I thank god hair grips were invented "

"Well come on, what you standing over there for when you could be un -chaining me !" now screaming which made Morgan jump abit.

"Chill woman or they'll hear you " she loudly whispered to me

" Just hurry before they do, mine has took up the habit of laughing at my anger " I whisper equally loudly back .

After about five minutes of Morgan messing about with the handcuffs I heard a click and the cold hard metal was no longer digging into my skin , I jump out the bed and have I mini dance of victory which was so rudely interrupted by Morgan clearing her throat and nodding her head in the direction of the door suddenly I run towards the door and into the dark corridor trying to find Ellie .Morgan opens a large oak door next to mine and goes in with out telling me what she is doing so I just stand watch outside the large door day dreaming about that gorgeous man that kidnapped me which I thought was weird even as I was doing it. After ten minutes of standing guard Ellie and Morgan exit the door.

" Great now that we're all here , we can leave " I announce to the other two we were about to look for a way out of the house when we heard jerk face and his kidnapping friends come up the stairs

" Ohhh" Ellie starts

" Shit " I finish the sentence

"What do we do no way am I being hand cuffed again " Morgan says starting to panic . The voices become louder .

" Shit shit shit , what do we do " I say starting to pace . the voices are becoming really close now .

" In here!" whispers to me and Morgan whilst running into some kind of closet or something on the other side of the corridor. We close the door quietly and then we heard heavy footsteps approaching

" Hey see you guys soon , I need to go check on my mate that pack meeting was way too long for my taste " my sexy kidnapper says casually before he starts to walk towards he room where I had just come out of.

" Okay Alpha , we'll probably be doing the same I need to actually introduce myself to her " another guy says I think it was the sandy blonde hair guy who picked Morgan up. And within ten seconds all the guys had gone into the rooms .

" Quick , before they realise we've gone " I state before running out he closet and down the stairs within a couple of seconds I hear the girls following me. Once we had all gotten down the stairs we hear three thunderous roars/growls which signals the guys found out we escaped . And with that we all sprint towards the front door open it and run out side with no idea what to do next .

We open the door to be greeted with the bright California sun which for a moment blinded me . I open my eyes that are now fully recovered, to see a massive old Victorian mansion behind me with three guys storming out the door. Guess it didn't take them long to figure out where we went. They must have seen me as they started to run towards me ..

"We need to go like now !" I say to the girls before running towards the forest that surrounded the mansion .
