Chapter 15

Lauryns POV ~ 

After five minutes of pure and utter silence between me and Lucas the rest of the gang finally decided to show up which was a big relief and yes it was the most awkward  five minutes of my life as all I wanted to do was have an insane make out session with Lucas while he was gazing up into space and not paying attention to anything around him.

"So Alpha why exactly are we here ?" Hunter asked wearily whilst trying to get as far away as possible from me which is a the best idea he's ever had from my point of view any way .

" You are here because Lauryn over here has asked me a question " Lucas states back to Hunter in what seems like a calm state but I can tell by the way he's shifting his weight on the sofa and  the way he's rubbing the back of his neck constantly that he's obviously not in a calm sense of mind, god if I thought asking a simple question these days was going to be this stressful I wouldn't have bothered to ask it but noooo I just had to open my big mouth .

"Soooo , what was this o so interesting question that you  had to metaphorically drag us in here for ?" Jason asks

"Lauryn why don't you enlighten the group about you question " Lucas says to me whilst a cocky smirk grows on his face .

"God ! I didn't know one simple question would turn the whole world insane . All I wanted to know is what a mate is since you guys have been calling me and my girls that since the minute we met you. " I reply getting abit frustrated with the whole situation . I swear the word 'mate ' has turned my life upside down why can't I simply know what the stupid word means its not that big of a deal.

"Oh no dude you got her fired up she already wants to torture and kill me ,so do your best bud a favour and don't add any more frustration to the fire ." Hunter comments , but I barely notice I am to occupied trying to control my temper , I don't know why this happens to me over the smallest things but it does luckily I know how to control my anger and turn it off , but ever since I arrived  at the house/mansion ever since I met Lucas my control has lessened making it hard to dial down my anger . This happened to me a couple of years back when my dad left me and my mum for some slut , I got so angry I nearly ripped my house to shreds whilst my mum was in her bedroom crying her heart out , Ellie and Morgan saw this first hand and were the ones that calmed me down to stop me before I lost control completely . After about a year later I contacted my dad and we're on good terms now and the 'slut' he left my mum for turns out to be alright .

"LAURYN !!!" some one shouted right into my ear which made me jump

"WHAT !" I shout back whilst rubbing my ear , whoever shouted into my ear obviously wasn't a where of my sensitive hearing which meant it was one of the guys probably not Hunter since that would just be him signing his death wish so it was either Jason or Lucas . 

"Hey loz don't lose it , you just kindda spaced out and we had no idea of how to get you out of your trance , so after about two minutes Jason decided it would be a great idea to shout really loudly down your ear because he is a stupid idiot who doesn't listen to me because he has a desire to be on your hit list ." Morgan says to me trying to calm me down whilst sneakily having abit of a rant about Jason in the process which made Elle giggle abit .

"Ouch , babe that hurt really" Jason says to Morgan with his hand over his heart and his bottom lip sticking out .

"Arwww did little Morgan hurt your feelings " I ask him as if I'm speaking to a baby

"Yes she did " he replies with a fake sob.

"Oh god someone get a violin out its just so sad how dare she hurt his poor fragile feeling the utter shame ." Ellie says to Hunter and Lucas over dramatizing thing ,but you've got to give it to her that was a pretty good line , well the guys thought so any way as they were cracking up .
