Chapter 5

It's been a couple weeks since my first week of school and I have been really enjoying it. I made some new friends such as Ariel, Zach, and Weston. They were really fun to be around and I was really enjoying Virginia.
(LOL I know they don't live in Virginia but let's just pretend they do LOLOL okay)
Loren finally got me to make a cover on YouTube and she made Jacob, Ariel, Zach, and Weston help "promote" it. They all said it was good but I lowkey felt like it was bad. It also got me a large following on social media which was crazy because I am hella lame.
Over the past few weeks I've become really close with Jacob. Loren and Ariel would tease me about it of course but I didn't care. We were only friends... right? Even if he did like me it wouldn't work out he was famous and had millions of fans just begging to get any attention from him. Why did he care so much about me? I wasn't anything special. I knew he cared so much about me because Zach told me that he would always turn down his friends and say he was busy hanging with me.
I lay at my bay window, a reoccurring thing I did. Jacob and I would sit here and have our late night talks or we would sit in silence with soft music playing. We loved to share music with each other. Even if we both had two completely different music tastes. We even did some musical.ly's together which his fans seemed to enjoy. I didn't really know what I was doing though all the hand movements were too much for me. I am lowkey jealous of Loren and Ariel because of how good they are at musical.ly.
We were all going to hangout later and I was honestly so excited, we were all great friends. Ariel said she was going to bring her friend Mario and Jacob was inviting one of his friends named Hunter. I was really excited to meet more people, even if I'm hella awkward when you first meet me. That was the thing about me, I am so awkward when you first meet me but when we warm up I'm completely different and carefree. I'm so glad Jacob decided to get to know me and become my best friend and introduce me to everyone. If it weren't for him I would probably still be a loner.
Everyone gets to my house and I greet them. We all head to the basement which my parents just got renovated so it looks pretty cool to be honest. Once everyone is here, I am introduced to Hunter and Mario. They were just as nice as everyone else. We all hangout and someone suggests for us to make a video. Lets just say things got hectic pretty fast. Everyone tweets out for people to ask questions. As soon as everyone tweeted questions our mentions blew up with questions.
When we finish the video it's pretty late so everyone heads home. It wasn't that big of a deal because we all lived around the same neighborhood. When everyone leaves the only person left is Jacob. We talk about anything and everything, about thirty minutes later my Mom comes in.
"Hey Jacob, I just talked to your parents and asked them if you could stay the night. If you want of course." My mom tells him.
"Oh yeah sure! That sounds good." He tells my mom.
"Okay." She smiles at him. "Let me go get the air mattress for you to sleep on."
"Okay thanks!" He says to her.
We decide to go upstairs and continue talking. A little later my mom tells us it's time to go to bed. She had already set up the air mattress and gotten a blanket and pillow for him.
"Oh I need to get some clothes from my house." He tells me.
"Oh okay just tell my Mom I guess." I tell him.
"Alrighty I'll be right back." He says smiling at me.
"Okay see you soon." I say laughing at him.
A few minutes he comes back and changes in my bathroom. When he finishes changing he puts his dirty clothes in a bag and goes to the air mattress.
"Goodnight Jacob." I tell him closing my eyes.
"Goodnight Cam sweet dreams." He says.
"Mhm." I say falling into a deep sleep, a smile etched on my face.
