Akiza sat up in her queen sized bed, her silk sheets rapped around her slender body. It had been three years since her escape and Akiza had experienced some major flash backs. Her hair had since grown to her lower back and her skin had become fairer, her lips toned to a peachy pink and her eyelashes had extended upwards to reveal her glistening gray and blue eyes. She had become tall, about 5'4, and had grown to live in a fancy townhouse in the center of London. She was a senior student in the English Academy of Armada, which she would graduate from in a month. Of course, today was Saturday and she was off to meet with Rydelle. They met every other Saturday at the outskirts of London.
He had since moved to a small town outside of Port Royale, where they had first met. He hadn't changed much except for some grey hairs, but that was it. He and Akiza had grown close, just like family. They had gotten her recognized as an English citizen and the country had provided her with necessities, luxurious up to her skill level. Of course she had gotten close to wealth, but she was only a child.
She sat up and pushed herself off the bed. Her hair tumbled down and her white nightgown draped just past her knees. She gracefully walked to her closet and pulled out clothing in such a hurried manner that she almost broke the hangers. She pulled off her nightgown, which gently flowed off the curves of her body. It slightly tickled her skin and she let out a little sigh. She pulled on a white bra, clipping the clasps together with such precision. Picking up a silky white long sleeve blouse, she tugged it over her head, the shirt sliding down her chest. Next, Akiza grabbed a pair of tight, light silver pants, rubbing the material between her fingers. She sat down and gently slid her feet through the holes, pulling it over her muscular, yet slender legs and drew it over her round base and snapped it onto her slim waist. She then pulled on a tight red coat with the tail extending to the back of her knees. The golden trim brought out the color of her hair, and her cuffs were adorned with golden buttons. She clipped on a golden necklace that Rydelle had gotten her, and tied on a brown leather belt with golden buckles and a holder for her dagger.
Akiza then pulled on a pair of brown leather boots with golden clasps and a thin trim, which was pulled over her wool socks. Standing up once more, she drifted to her vanity to brush her hair, then tied it back in a ponytail, her bangs swirved across her cheek, covering her left eye.
Walking away, Akiza strolled through the pillars of the rooms door and across the hall to a bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. Putting down the tooth brush and face rag, she looked at herself, water dribbling down her face. Smirking, Akiza backed away and stood there thinking. Was this life really what she wanted? Blinking, she dismissed the thought thinking back to all the times she asked the same question with the same reply. Yes.
Figuring she had no time to spare, she hurried downstairs, grabbed an apple from the fruit basket, and went out the door. It closed with a slam, but Akiza didn't notice since she was on a time crunch. Rydelle always woke up early and got ready fast. So that meant Akiza was late.
She sped through the city streets, passing vendors and children all from wealth. Going around a corner, she barely missed hitting Mr.John and his wagon of apples. "How do you do?" He asked. Akiza nodded and kept walking. Going around a few more corners, Akiza walked over to the docks where Rydelle was waiting. She stopped in front of him, giving him a hug. "So princess, how are you?" Akiza smiled, "good, how are you Rydelle? " He chuckled and and gave her a big smile. "Well, good enough to give you this," and with that he handed her a small pouch. She looked inside and gasped. "One hundred Debloons, thank you!" Rydelle nodded and gave her a sad smile. "I'm sorry, but I have to leave soon today for a job out in Scotland so I have to go. I will see you soon." Rydelle gave Akiza a big hug and walked away. They waved and then he turned around. Sadly, they were never to see each other again.
