Waking up the next morning, Akiza was still startled from last night. The broken powder bottle lay on her desk and a late night sketch of the pin was hung on her wall. Looking down, Akiza wondered what the Circle wanted with her, and why they tried to poison her. Shaking her head, Akiza found the answer to be quite obvious. They either wanted to bring her back or kill her since she held all their secrets.

Akiza suddenly felt a soft tuft of fur rub against her leg. Quicksilver was rubing against her, trying to nudge her to her closet. It seemed that her mind was clearer than Akiza's. It was Monday so that meant she had to go to the academy. Scrambling up, she rushed over to her closet and pulled out her uniform. A silky white blouse, a black corset, black leggings, a tight royal  blue tail coat, black gloves, and white boots. She quickly pulled her clothing on, clipping on her necklace and tugging on her silver gauntlets. Last was her blue hair ribbon.

Brushing her hair, Akiza pulled it up into a rounded bun, pulling on its white cap and tying in her blue hair ribbon for decor. Once again, her left eye was covered, but she didn't mind.
Grabbing her leather satchel, Akiza raced out of her room and out the front door, picking up an apple on the way.

Feeling something wrong, Akiza looked down to find her silver belt gone. Checking her bag, she was relieved to find her belt nicely folded and her dagger in its custom holder. Racing down the streets, Akiza thought about her encounter with the strange man. She wondered why he tried to put her into paralysis.

Suddenly, she was at the Academy's front doors. Wondering how she got there so fast, she walked in. Pacing down the halls, she found her safe and picked up her sword and needles. She walked down the halls and stopped in front of her all day classrom. Professor Jack was about to start a lesson and Akiza wasn't in her seat. Jumping over desks and chairs, Akiza raced to the back of the room.
"Miss Darkania, your late." Professor Jack turned around, is mouth curved into a smile. "Of course, since this is you first time I'll let it slide, now please try not to scare the other students next time." Akiza gave him an evil grin, "I can't make any promises." Professor Jack raised an eyebrow and turned back to the board.

Propping her feet on the desk, Akiza looked around her. She could see many of her fellow students either glaring or jotting down notes. There was Kent, Amy, Cole, Justin, Marissa, Selena, Duncan, Stewart, and Mal. Kent and Cole were best friends, both with a bad attitude and a lazy scenario on things. Justin, Duncan, and Marissa were in the group of popular individuals while Selena, Stewart and Mal were just too brainy. Amy was in a category all by herself, stubborn and annoying. Akiza frowned, she never liked Amy with her eager posture and annoying habit of sucking up to the teacher like water to a sponge.

The Professor was asking where the infamous Captain Kidd led his famous voyage. Apparently, no one knew so naturally Akiza was annoyed. She took out her dagger and began to set it with a miniature grindstone, thinking on the Circle. They hadn't really been active in six years, and they certainly had never let a trainee escape. Why would they choose to start again? Most importantly, why was the vent loose that night? There was no way that they would just let that happen. Was there a reason the vent was loose? FFKK! Akiza looked down to see that her hand was dripping blood, she appeared to be clutching the dagger so tight that it had dug into her skin.

She looked up to see that the professor was still asking the same question. Sighing, she rolled her eyes. Suddenly, a flash of silver raced by the professors head. A dagger had dug into the wall, it's point in the West Indian Sea. Blood dripped on the floor as the professor turned to look at Akiza, his face full of shock and relief. Her hand was open, her palm facing the professor. "Thank you Akiza for correctly answering the question that MANY have failed to answer." The professor looked over that class, expecting that they were paying attention.

Akiza held out her hand and the professor pulled her dagger from the wall, then he tossed it to her, it landed perfectly in her hand. The students whispered as Akiza wiped the blood from her dagger. She was proud to be the best student in the school, both physically and mentally.

A few hours later, they went out the courtyard for fencing practice. It was a free for all,  so naturally, everyone went for Akiza. In less than two minutes, everyone's swords were on the floor, students knelt down, gasping for breath. All except for Akiza, who was unscathed and unsweaty. She stood there smirking, she was kind of sad that no one posed a challenge.

After that they went inside, being dismissed an hour later. As Akiza walked down the hall, she heard angry footsteps behind her. Taking a deep breath, she shot out her arm and wrapped it around their neck. She pulled their head to the ground, almost crushing their skull. Akiza was surprised to see Amy, her short brunette hair barely touching the ground. Her green eyes glowed with anger, and her face was white. " you have thirty seconds before I walk away," Akiza said annoyed. Amy sucked in a breath,"why did you throw a fricking dagger at the professor, you could have hurt him and...wait!" But Akiza was already walking away, and she didn't stop to see if she was followed all the way home.
