"POP" The Question pt. 1

"Jack I just need some time." I say close to crying.

(Three weeks earlier)

Anna comes running downs stairs into the kitchen.

"Elsa, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out and have a sister day. You know, like the old times." She says.

"Anna, I'd love to but I have paperwork to fill out. Ebony has a field trip coming up. Jacks going out of town. I just don't have time. I'm sorry. Maybe next month." I say reassuringly.

"Got it. I guess I'll go to Disneyland by myself then." She says, as she heads back up the stairs.

I feel bad having to say no to her. The last time we hung out was the night I met Jack. Later that night after Ebony heads to Maddie's house for a slumber party with her cousin. Anna and Kristoff go on a two night trip. It'll be just me and Jack while everyone's away. Jack comes in from a long day at work.

"Hey Babe!" He says, as he kisses me.

"Hey... Jack."

"Elsa is there something wrong? Anything bothering you?" He asks.

"Jack I think we need some time apart." I say.

"What no, why is it me did I do something if I did I'm sorry really really sorr-" he doesn't take a breath until I stop him.

"Jack I just need some time." I say close to crying.

"Are you serious? Elsa we have a kid. She needs us." He pleads.

"I'm sorry I never hot to live my life the way I wanted to. I went to medical school then to school to become a teacher. My heart was sent on being a full time doctor. Now I'm a middle school biology teacher. I never got to party a with my sister and best friend. Ive always been the responsible one. When I was a kid Anna went to parties while I cleaned the house for our parents. When they died I became a mother." I say I'm so glad to get that off my chest.

"I see. Then I'll just be on my way." He turns for the door.

"Jack wait." I call.

"Yeah!"

"Ebony has a field trip. Next week and she wants you to take her." I smirk.

He rolls his eyes and leaves.
