It's kinda lazy when you for example: the main character gets kidnapped and then in the authors note the person says "pretend that never even happened and also from now on her name is Linda." And they never go back and edit the part before. Like I understand it for readers that have been there update by update and have to be aware of the change, but for the new ones, is it really that hard to just go and edit it?
Idek if I make sense, but hope you understand the point that I'm trying to get across.
