Chapter 2- Trying To Be A Hero

(Ella's POV)
6 years later.

"El, wake up." A familiar voice said. I groaned and turned to move at my left side.

"Shit, El, wake up!" A voice shouted. I recognized that it was Marl's voice.

"Nooooo, I'm tired." I whined but still kept my eyes close.

"WAKE UP EL!" He shouted.

"Go away." I murmured.

"Okay fine, goodbye." He said.

Finally.

"Just close the door when you leave." I told him but still I kept my eyes close then I snuggled into my blanket.

"I'm not going anywhere." He said.

I didn't answer.

Minutes later.

"Okay fine, if you won't wake up well, I'll sleep with you." He said then I felt my bed on the right side moved like someone sat on it. Then an arm snakes around my waist and he snuggle his head on my shoulder.

"Hmmm.. You always smell like strawberry." He whispered.

"Well, thanks, you stink." I said, I mean lied. He didn't stinks, he actually smell good. I turned around to face him then lean closer to his chest.

"El, you know that we need to go now, we're almost late." He said then my eyes go wide.

"Wait, what?! I thought today was Saturday." I said then looked straight into his eyes.

"Well, no El, today is Friday." Oh shit.

"You sure?" I asked then glanced at what he's wearing. Shit, he's ready for school and I was here laying in my bed that I thought today was Saturday.

I glanced at the clock and saw the beautiful (note the sarcasm) hands pointed at the digits that make me go woah, 7:49am.

"Shit." I said then ran towards my bathroom, taking a 5 minute shower and struggling on getting my black pants in then a red crop top says, 'I'm A Hero'

"Let's go, Marl." I told him when I saw him watching Spongebob at the living room.

He really didn't changed.

"Okay." He said then he jumped of the sofa and ran beside me.

When we arrived at school, me and Marl had a deal, we need to save people inside our school who need help. The person who saved more people, is the bravest, childish game right? It's because we're bored.

Oh, I forgot to introduce that I have 6 more friends. Their names are Piattos Lavigne (Momma Zyckie's daughter), Kian Clark (Momma Kate's son), Rachel Denver (Momma Riley's daughter), Raiden Xavier (Momma Reygina's son), Chad Oakley (Momma Cess's son), and Lacey Sykes (Momma Diana's daughter), you already know Marl, right?

Hours passed by and now, we're in the Cafeteria. I'm bored so I look around, my friends are already here eating sandwiches while me, I sip on my juice even if my juice is already empty.

"I'm just going to use the bathroom." I told my friends then I stood up and walked outside. I planned on walking outside the school. Then, I saw a freshman looking frightened at the dog who's barking.
